  • it always stops.it cuts my concentrated.but perfectttt

  • this is one of the best thing both of my eyes have ever seen :D

  • thanks for Michael's expertise......

  • i used to take irish step dancing!! and in 7th grade this was the song for my recital !! :)

  • Lord of dance !

  • And everybody has clothes on!

  • this show blew Riverdance and Lord of the Dance right out of the water... i have one question though... how on earth do they keep such perfect time? I take Irish Dancing... would love to learn from Michael Flatley though... he is unbelievably talented

  • @Slytherinsrule316 I'm sorry have you even seen all the dances of Celtic Tiger? watch the 1996 lord of the dance premiere at dublin theatre and the 1997 New York riverdance and then come back here and try saying that again, this show sucks and totally tore all credibility that Flatley had

  • @Slytherinsrule316 I'm sorry have you even seen all the dances of Celtic Tiger? watch the 1996 lord of the dance premiere at dublin theatre and the 1997 New York riverdance and then come back here and try saying that again, this show was terrible

  • @v4552 your an idiot u dont know shit

  • Michael Flatley az örök kedvenc!

  • Tökéletes, felülmúlhatatlan !

    Gratulálok!

  • i have seen him several tiimes in Riverdance

  • Very bad video editing job.

  • Michael Flatley is my biggest inspiration! To be in riverdance is a dream of mine!!!!!!!

  • NOT COMMENT !!! :) FOR MINDS ELIBERATED !

  • I was ill in hospital with pneumonia aged 12 he came and signed a programme for me as I couldn't go to the show, and 3 dancers came and gave it me in hospital. So if he ever reads this (doubt it) but thank you so much!

  • does anyone know where the full version of this is online? i never seen this and always wanted too. always been a huge fan of michael flateley

  • Incredible, i had the good fortune to see riverdance in Saint John N.b a few years ago. They are amazing.Sadly i heard 3 of the girls that were in the group died in a car wreck, anyone know if this is true. They are the most awesome dancers ever.2nd to none.

  • Flately holds the world record for the fastest tap dancer - 35 taps per second.

  • I like the music, can somebody help me and send me a link, just with the music of this video? Thanks!

  • @Jananasje This is "The Eye of the Tiger" from the Rocky III movie.

  • Comment removed

  • @bessarion123 I can't find the right video.. Can you send me a link from youtube? Thanks!

  • Feet of Flames is better than Celtic Tiger. Still I greatly enjoyed this show, also I loved the fact that Flatley didn't even try to hide his age, yet he menaged to create quite fitting roles for himself.

  • I love to watch AND listen to them dance!!!! And I really like Michael a lot better with a shirt on.

  • Who are the two girls he keeps hugging and kissing? Are they his daughters?

  • @kakashidemon321 he have a one son name michael junior.

  • @kakashidemon321 The first one he hugs is now his wife......has been for a few years ......not sure about the second...just a lead dancer i think,,,,,,,,

  • I can appreciate people's opinions, but I don't care about tradition, just entertainment. I went to his show just because my sister wanted to go and I was blown away!!!!!

  • I don't like what Flatley has done to the irish dancing show. He has people singing in english, fairy costumes and rock music. It's no longer traditional, it has no soul.

  • @Browncoatt22 because of him , you're culture is known all over the world. I'm from Romania, and only after seeing him on tv I started searching for Irish music, and fall in love with it

  • @yobalthazar What do you mean my culture? Im not Irish, I'm English. I just think what he's done is a huge cash-in on something that once upon a time he had some respect and understanding for.

  • My cousins in this:D!

  • 9 DISLIKES whats wrong with u people hes awesome

  • very marvilous and highly tasteful i recommend him for (LONDON 2012 ) opening plz nominate 4 dat

  • Fergeteges tánctudás, tökéletes színpadi show ! Fantasztikusak vagytok mindannyian :-)

  • Flatley ist der Tanzkönig. Absolute Magie

  • nice! a little bit of a 'dancing in the dark' mix and a 'these colours don't run' repeat! awesome number. I'm glad to post my comments on all your clips, except for one, and I hope I hear from you of what you think of what I said. see ya!

  • The guitar sounds are perfect and awesome

  • @jbsmart100 I saw this show way back when it was on tour five years ago and it was amazing.

  • like a billion times if i could!

  • I love this , I wish I could see him dance in person

  • echt geil super

  • Just watched the whole show from "The Heartbeat of the Tiger" to "The Celtic Tiger". Absolutely loved every minute of it. I got a history lesson a dance lesson and got entertained from begining to end. With a little bit of a biography on Michael. You see how much he loves Ireland and he still loves and hasn't forgoton his roots here in the States.

  • MACHINEGUNFEET~~~~!!!!!!!!

  • IS HE AWESOME OR WHAT>?

  • Incredibile!

    Maestoso!

  • pure class, moved away from tradition a bit which can be good and bad but i love it

  • I don't care about his ancestry. Public seems to like him, and I agree with them.

  • WHAT A TUNE WOH LOVE BEING IRISH!

  • I hope sometime I get to meet him! Hes so amazing!

  • have you ever noticed that michael flatley's taps don't sound like everyone elses? thats because he has steel taps and not hard shoes like the rest of the cast.

  • yea, what's irish about him now? Celtic Tiger isn't. His costumes aren't. And not even his shoes are irish. That shoes are used for jazz tap (you see, AMERICAN), he was born in America. Yeah, he's totally irish....of course.....

  • @IvliaC he WAS still a great dancer and a great choreographer. he may not be great anymore but he was before...

  • @irishdancer7513 that's true.... I simply adore Lord of the Dance and I'm going to see it THIS MONTH and I'm sitting in the third row!!!!!

  • @IvliaC That should be fun!!! My favorite is Feet of Flames. I also know people in it!! Riverdance was also amazing! And Michael Flately was the first person to create this big of a show.

  • the tiger is definitely irish. lol.

  • @IvliaC its IRISH dancing if there was no IRISH dancing Micheal Flatley wouldnt be known DUHH

  • @IvliaC - What does it matter that he is not "Irish" enough for you. He, after all, was born in America. There are upwords of 74 million American's with ancestral ties to Ireland. There are approxiately 46 million American's with ancestral ties to your homeland of Germany. My maternal grandfather was from Dublin and my paternal grandfather was from Weisbaden. What makes America great is we take the styles and traditions from our ancestral homelands and "Americanize" them to make our own!

  • when and where this took place???

  • This show was first performed for the public on July 9, 2005 in Budapest, Hungary. Possibly this is a footage from that performance, but I am not sure.

Anyway, I was there and I quite enjoyed it! Flatley is the king!

  • this dvd was recorded at the Birmingham NIA, 2007 I believe

  • July 9th, 2005, Budapest.

  • thank you!

  • It took place in 2005 in Texas, USA.

  • WONDERFUL!!!!!

  • i know how to play the song on guitar

    Instruments used

    Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster

    ( first song )

    Squier Standard Stratocaster

( second and final song )

    Fender Amplifier

  • Comment removed

  • I like the guitar and drum sounds and i know how to play it. Michael Flatley rocks

  • GREATEST EVER

  • just one word:

    WOW

  • Michael Flatley is the best dancer of the world!!! (L) :)

  • I grudgingly went to see Celtic Tiger a few years ago and it was the best thing I have ever seen. I LOVED it !!!!!!

  • McLovin makes his entre at 2:03

  • Gosh watching this show live was a dream come true! I have been a fan for 11 years! And I am 22 (almost 23). I love this man! My biggest idol ever!

  • I love to watch them all dance, Michael is the best ever,,,, love him...

  • The "back-up?" dancers are just as good!:)

  • I`m from germany and I love this show so much :) Michael Flatles is the BEST of all time!!!!! :)))))))))

  • Fantastic. 5*

  • I found a new love...lol I love to watch him dance.

  • A friend from me learn that.

And sometimes when I was at her. She teach me some steps.

  • actually, i've been dancing to this song, it's awesome. What's it called?

But i danced irish river dance, with those shoes you know,

    so, whats the song called?

  • Yankee Doodle

  • Michael Flatley is the best! I love the way he dances! He enjoys what he does, which is rare these days

  • Michael Flatley wouldn't be the best if he didn't do it from all his heart, he is not only enjoys what he does he just can't keep it inside. It wouldn't be work another way!

  • I wasn't a big fan but went to see Celtic Tiger a few years ago and it was the best thing I've ever witnessed! Who cares if it's traditional or not? You like it or you don't like it...........I LOVED IT!!!!

  • Well said!

  • lol ouve got to love yankee doodle.

and hes not a bad dancer, either :P

this one was brilliant, for those of you whove not seen stuff like this before keep searching using the related links bit till you find one with no music.

then youll realise how good these people really are at making a beat

  • Michael Flatley gives an awesome performance!

  • Especially if we consider his age. -And he is performing without trying to pretend as he was in his twenties. He's awesome.

  • I love how he finally left the idea of a 'storyline' performance and concentrated on each dance individually as a performance. LotD has very little support in the way of story unless you Wiki-ed it, which let it down. This is just pure brilliant choreography and stunning performance :P

  • when will everyone get it into their heads, he has never been traditional, it's the same old argument, nobody likes seeing something new, i am of irish decent and appreciate the traditional way of dancing but this is a twist on an old theme and i think it's brilliant

  • You'd never know with how all the shows seem to sell out or how the crowd is reacting.

  • i loved this don't get me wrong, but what i am wondering is what ever happened to the irish music that you are supposed to irish dance to???

  • Szia Halmayg!

Ez a budapesti koncerten lett felvéve?

  • Awesmeness!!!!! This is just awesome!!

  • I think it is just AMAZING!

This is one of his best performance!

(cause he is not topless at last XD )

  • Amazing show, amazing Michael!!!

  • Está lindo,gracias!!!!!!!!

  • really bad!!! the music... the ulgly shoes... the stage is so simple.

Nothing like Lord of the Dance or Feet of flames, what happened???

  • I have to agree, sadly, i'm ashamed to say, he's lost his oomph and gone commercial. I get the feeling this one's set in America...?? I have nothing against the Americans and i've never seen Celtic Tiger but this is the pits compared to Riverdance and Lord of the Dance... A shame... But he's still the one and only! The best ever, no one can even compare to him, they can only copy :D

  • I so agree. I am from America, but my ancesters are from Scottland, Ireland, and all that. Nothing can compare to the true ways of Irish dancing. I agree, Michael Flatley lost it with his style of dancing. When I first saw his new shows, I was sad. I loved his true Irish form, but now its not the same. Its a shame.

  • Is Gillian Norris in this one??

  • No she is not

  • Ok, thanks.

  • Apart why he walks around the stage is to have a short rest or because he is a driector and he is!

just looking that everything is O.K.

  • I've beev a fan 4 ever. Love his talent and wonderful love of dance. very blessed. He will always have the power of his talent

  • i love this i do irish dancing and i want to be just like him!:)

  • i had to stop irish dancing coz i broke my ankle the doctors said i could never dance again i was so sad coz it was my life my heart and soul micheal flatley is my idol

  • thats a good point

  • wow. he's got an ego... maybe he should dance a bit more... instead of walking around the stage. I dont know. that's just me. im not saying he's bad or anything. when he dances, he 's really friggin awesome

  • When he is walking, in truth, he is taking a little rest, don't forget that he is nearly 50 here.

  • @ TheQueenDelilah

He doesn't dance a lot anymore because of all the dancing he did over the years, his knees and other parts of his legs and feet are a wreck...At least thats what i've heard.

    Sorry for my bad English.

  • How hard do you think it is?

Tell me how you think it is.

If you think its easy wow then you must be on crack.

I do Irish Dancing its kinda like that and even that is hard so just think how hard that is.

  • hmm..i wonder what advice michael flately would give to a young guy...=]

    i love this btw

  • are u people nuts, this video is awsome

  • I can't say I was overly impressed with Celtic Tiger after watching his three other shows, but I did like the last dance and Yankee Doodle Dandy.

  • I went to see Celtic Tiger, and it wasn't the same as this. *ponder*. Oh well it was still fantastic and I love this video aswell =)

  • its... just not the same...I dont like it honestly

  • I don't see why everyone voted this down/marked it as spam. The dancing is good, but the whole scene IS trashy. Women in bikinis and an Irish striptease? How is that NOT trashy?

  • this is also Dancing in the Dark

  • Who gives a shit if a he reused some of "his own dance moves".

  • I agree with you. Same choreography, so? We are writing the same characters every day! -now that is what boring!-Why don't we invent new ones?

  • If we were to change the characters we write with, then we could call it a different written language. If Michael were to change the choreography, he could call it a different show. If Michael doesn't change the choreography, has he really changed the show? Big example of this: Lord of the Dance/ Feet of Flames.

  • At 1:16, it's the same choregraphy in feet of flames Planet ireland

  • Waouw there was love in celtic tiger at

    0:43 min!!

  • This is the saddest thing I've ever seen....

  • absolutely fantastic :)

    love this

  • absolutely love how the sounds of the taps were incorporated into the actual sound of the music! too bad he's not dancing any more...

  • They Also did that with Reel Around the Sun in RD...dammit! I would like to use my OWN choreography for it!! ah, well, they're both good!

  • he is coming back.. the days are counting down.. he is over his illness and working out daily at his castle.. he will be rejoining his crew when Celtic Tiger goes back on the wold tour..

  • are you serious??? It would be so great! I've dreamt about seeing him at the stage, but thought it would never happen again...

  • I send him (Flatley) my best wishes as well, however I learned that he is not the type who gives anything up -also as long as he can dance, he will dance.

Btw, a month ago he was named Entertainer of the Decade by the Variety Club of Ireland.

  • That is the official word from Flatley & Co... It will take a little while to get the world tour back in order, but Michael WILL be with them in full force.

  • yay! if it comes ANYWHERE near me i will *so* be there!!! can't wait to see him!

  • UM! Is this not just Planet Ireland recycled?

  • A lot of the tapping in this is the same as in Planet Ireland, yes.

  • is it just me or ist kinda getting old him recycling this stuff? dont get me wrong i loved lord of the dance, feet of flames was good but there wasnt tooo much new things and this is just blah to me...am i the only one?

  • Most people just don't get it. Because this show is so completely different from the Lord of the Dance and Feet of Flames, he likes to use elements from his previous shows so people can still relate to it and think back on the other shows. He said so himself.

  • But it comes off like he's not that creative, which judging by the shows you named, he most certainly is. I would have liked to have seen something different than Planet Ireland reformed...

  • oh but he is very creative, just compare Celtic Tiger with the rest of his shows, you see they are completely different except for some small things. He once said: people want to see the things that made you who you are today so you can't change too much.People want to see the best of what you already made. Besides there is not much of a commonality between Celtic Tiger Finale and Planet Ireland. If you doubt his creativity, go and see dancing in the dark! Awesom and different.

  • exelent....what a dancer

  • I was at the premier -in Budapest. It was a wonderful feeling to see him (and 'them') in live!

  • i must admit his age doesnt bother me...but as hes nearly 50(i think) then hes bveen dancing for 46 years....his legs are almost shot...i think you can expect this to be the last show hell make....damn...THAT MAN HAS SOME BLOODY MAGNIFICENT TALENT...also feck the haters

  • he started at eleven years old!

  • wow...im sorry...for being off by 7 years...lol

  • I love it. Very amazing.His steps are legendary=)

  • we do this at my studio, but this is cooler. and it's really hard!

  • What a dancer!

  • wat a hero :D

  • What a legend!

  • I don't know about the tour bus, but if he did anything, it would have been only with one of them...that would be Niamh O'Brien, the first one he hugged...not uncommon to do that with your future WIFE So shut your trap, moron

  • Great Reply Jamie

It is sad that some sad people, can only made stupid comments on this site instead of enjoying it. Jantre34

  • Yup, the woman he hugged first is Niamh O'Brien who had been his "friend" for a long time like back to Riverdance days. They finally realized they cared deeply for each other. Nothing wrong with hugging your future wife that's for sure.

  • Michael Flatley is the man and I was not very happy when the lethim go and had removed from the river dance.

  • He is the King. As a lucky hungarian I've seen Celtic Tiger's premier in Budapest. Oh, they're so good....

  • To bbenjoe: én is ott voltam és van közös kép a szállodánál! :)

To vandyke: Nothing happens on a tour bus. Michael uses his private plane.

  • This is amazing!! I so wish I was there. I would have been going crazy. Michael Flatley is a genius!!

  • Yes it was truly amazing, filmed at Birmingham,I also saw it in Newcastle,And Dublin, with 7 encores, fantastic,I just hope he will be well enough for more soon.

  • He sure looks great for someone that'll be turning 50 this year.

  • To jantre34: I saw the Budapest show, that was the official premiere for CT, 1 month after the Birmingham one. And the opening scene is from the Hungarian show. That's it!
