I know we hear the story of Jesus' birth every year since we are little, but I finally understood the profoundity of it just this Christmas after having my first child a few months ago. Praise God for His goodness and grace. Mary was such a strong young woman, and Joseph a trusting man. My mind is just now beginning to wrap around what really happened all those years ago. I heard this song on the radio on a Christmas station. I was crying in my car singing with it. I love it!! To think how Mary rocked Jesus to sleep and he had seen the dawn of time, he heard angels choir sing, he has seen heaven in all its glory, how he came here just to be a sacrifical lamb for us. Its amazing, he came to live amongst men and he knows what it means to be human. What other religion can say that.
