Overall good job however you take some parts too slow, and i think you read some parts of the music wrong such as 3:22-3:24, your left and right hand should be playing the notes on offbeats (which means not simultaneously but one after another).
ah. maybe someone knows. I'm currently looking for a piece that was played with a band I was in temporarily back november last year. A solo piece on marimba I think it was. a really dreamlike calming piece played by a "drummer" that graduated on Xylophonia (or something like that). anyways. all I can remember is "-something- prayer". anyone that can help me with that?
Nicely done. I'm learning this piece right now. I'm not sure which arrangement I have though. My teacher made a copy of the music from a copy of the original score. Two things I want to ask you. What notes do you begin and end on for the glisses at 2:33 and the end of the song. Also can anybody list some of Cahn's ragtime pieces for me besides this song that aren't by G.H Green. I know of "The Jolly Cabbaalero". I know I probably spelled that wrong. Sorry about that ahead of time.
the otsego band is doing this in the susa concert...im the only bell (mallet percusionest) but we have other people coming in to help with the part..im so excited. but this was truely amazing!!
this is extremly awesome, were playing this for concert band, i dont get to do the solo though, our band director is letting our drumline instructor, who plays pit do it, makes me angry, i could do it. :/ but good joba anyway, very nice i thought you played excellently

Was that the crab step the percussionist was doing as the girl moved the xylophone and he moved along with it?

Great job. Can you tell me where your band director got the band arrangement?

This is actually a lot better than I had originally thought it would be. The tempo is a bit iffy, but keep it even. w00tz on an extremely good job!

haha, thanks.
yeah i thought the tempo was pretty slow at the beginning, but it adds to the contrast with the end :)
