I think that it is testament to the awesomeness of Thrash that so many of the genres legends have released some of their best works in later years, Exodus, Testament, Megadeth, Overkill, Slayer! It's also testament to Thrash that these bands are still going and have a crowd! As Chuck Billy said, glam was popular at the time but wheres that scene now? Thrash has passed the test of time!
