@ChesterxxJaheem im 29 and i was a saw the rise of Aaliyah since i was in jr high and by the time i was in high school 96 thru 2000 she was taking off to become a world famous star since she broke into the movies be Beyonce stood out to me when she was in destinys child .. but when Aaliyah died ..beyonce filled that "spot" aaliyah had on lock.... same thing after tupac died then dmx , jay z , and even JA rule's music took off... i like dmx hes cool

@ThatsHotBtch i honestly don't think there will ever be a Aaliyah film made. about 5 years ago there was talk that singer Keisha Chante' was set to play her, but it never happened. i think like Tupac they should just leave it as documentaries and things like that. even though they still say a actual Tupac movie is coming......

@mack1820 the 2pac movie will not measure up to his fans expectations, no actor or even rapper can measure up to what 2pac was. they say there are two sides to every person like a coin. Actors try to emulate both sides, some succeed, most fall short. Tupac was very much more than two sided. The man was a 6 sided dice, there was multiple sides to him. the thug, the poet, the philosopher, the activist, the actor, the historian the warrior and the rapper. good luck capturing 3 of those aspects.

@darkservantofheaven that's why i say just 'leave it alone'. let us the fans remember them as they were. it was Ms. Wallace's right to release 'Notorious' if she wanted too. but i really don't think Aaliyah's mother Diane wants the same. i truly believe that Aaliyah's family doesn't want to see a film ever made, and i wouldn't blame them. Aaliyah was special and just can't really see ANYBODY playing my baby! as far as Tupac's mother, she may want to see a film made i don't know that situation.

@mack1820 the only positive I can see about a 2pac bio pic, is the fact that the director of Training Day and Brooklyns Finest is directing it along with some help from Denzel washington(which is slightly a rumor, not sure if that part is true, but those two would probably do the work justice, but its finding an actor who could protray 2pac to the fullest that would be tricky, same would go for Aaliyah.
