Good to see you Rev! Tobacco Nazi's are just using this to raise taxes. They have not intention to outlaw tobacco, just raise revenue! Put a nickel tax on every 12 oz of beer sold in the US and we could make a sizable dent in the debt! I see cigs as a nervous habit, I see cigars and pipes as relaxation tools, no different than an occasional glass of wine, whisky or scotch. Have great 2012!

Tell them the same as I do,when I was growing up every billboard every TV ad was a smoking ad every sport you watched had a tobacco sponsor etc.So for 30-40 years you ram it down my throat saying its cool to smoke,well Mr you got me into smoking & now you want to penalise me for it,the government were quick enough to take taxes then with no remorse, now you want me to pay extra in some way or other for that.when you should be paying my health bills,after all you allowed the ads.etc etc.
Hey Joey thanks for the kind words and that Ashton is gorgeous. The risks of pipe smoking are miniscule at best. The two biggest risk factors are poor diet and a sedentary lifestyle. I think the government needs to stay out of our lives. I had my first heart attack at 41 my second at 43. I am not much better. I feel the pipe does not give you anywhere the volume of nicotine that cigs do. Your right no tobacco, huge tax increase on alcohol or sugar or fast food. Nicotine does not raise cholesterol, fat does. Nicotine helps fat stick in the arteries.

Joe its awesome seeing you on the tube again. Great ashton by the way. Christmas was awesome and i asked for nothing. I just wanted to give but my dad and debbie did buy me a ferndown which was really great of them. The tobacco taxes are ridiculous and for a country that first made its dollar on tobacco plants sure has an easy way of forgetting that. The health benefits are 50/50 in my eyes. I have met people that never smoked a day in there life and were health nuts that died of heart failure.
