That exhaust sounds great. I would like to do a true dual set up with magnaflows and dump the to the ground under the bed to get that nice rumble sound.
@dudztastic I had this exhaust custom made. It is just a 14 inch Magnaflow muffler where the resonator used to be on the y-pipe. And it is 3 inch tubing from the y-pipe collector and back. The tip is made by Corsa.

I took it to my guy who does exhaust and put it on the lift to see how I wanted it down. I decided to go y-pipe back and do a straight 3 inch shot off the y-pipe to the 14 inch maganflow muffler with the resonator deleted. I just told my guy where I wanted it to spit out and he took care of the fab work. It was around $500 all said and done

that is how most people describe it. i usually get asked what cam is in it haha. it is a 100% stock motor, no cam. And you should hear it in person. Its not the dodge ram hemi with flowmasters for sure. I hate trucks with exhaust that has the same low tone that just gets louder. the pitch changes in the rpm bands with this setup. I highly recommend it and you will not be disappointed.

@04SVTslowbra What a shame. I've been driving a Dakota for 14 years now. I'm on my second one. I'm still looking for one of those 89 Shelby's. They're hard to come by these days.
@X2N18 All stock Dodge transmissions aren't the greatest. These trucks just don't rev high either. They are very conservative motors. Thanks for the compliment on the cobra! She is very fast.
@kippdr yeah there are cheaper ways to get 5hp and not spend 300 bucks. For $300 i can get gibson headers for my dakota and gain around 20hp plus a nice exhaust note. besides. with k&n your paying for a brand name. there are better brands for the cost out there. AEM for example.
will these trucks run ok without the cats? i didnt know if it would mess the computer up and dump a bunch of fuel in it and stuff. and even if it would mess it up, if i had the mopar pcm, would it still tune it right?
if you take off all the cats then you will throw a code for sure cause you will also have to remove the o2 sensors as well. I only took off the resonator which is the last cat. removing the cats wont mess up the fuel and stuff either. you may lose back pressure if anything. but they sell kits that plug into your sensors to make it seem like there are cats there though
when u drive is ur right ear deafond? or is it good sound? I was thinking about doin 4 pipes two out the right and to out the left idk if itll be to crazy tho?
its a custom setup. its a 14in si/so magnaflow muffler with 3" inlet and 3" outlet. and i only removed one cat and it was the third one. the tips are from corsa and i was too lazy to clean them before the video haha. they do shine dont worry.

@cliquepow Yes I retained the stock catalytic converters. The only thing I deleted was the resonator after the muffler.
