I am a golf pro. Jeff does an excellent job explaining and showing the critical position you should be in at inpact. This is the exact position that my fellow colleagues and I do, to consistently strike the ball with crisp accuracy. Give the guy a break!

@fedorvanmegen I agree. Im only a single figure player, so Im not one to instruct anyone, but for me, there should be almost a line between your left shoulder, your hands, and the ball. It will make it much easier to get in the right position at impact because you are pretty much there at address.

@long14m A front view is NOT a good view to determine grip position because you can't tell how high his hands are.  The lower the hands, the more cupping in the left wrist at address which will make the grip look stronger than it is.

For the drill yes, under normal play it is a players preferance, but I prefer you do.
