@68Engine68 When the 06 Seagraves came in T-15 and E-7 wanted Mars lights so Seagrave put mounts in for them. In DC the fire dept furnishs the mounts for the roto rays or mars lights and if the company wants them they buy the llights out of the company fund

Most all of them are Seagrave. Only a few are non-seagraves, the Rescue Squads, a few Truck Companies are ALF/LTi, and a few E-Ones as spares most likely.

no offence, but ALF trucks suck. we had for about 3 months. before the transmission dropped out. and we bought it brand new. now all we have in ALF is a old space engine, that doesnt even start 90% of the time.

@NC403Firefighter Only 7 frontline DCFD eng lad and rescue are non-seagrave. With 33 enigne 16 ladders and 3 rescues that makes 45 seagrave rigs.

@ryanlovestosnowboard I talked to my buddy on DCFD, your a littl off FYI its 5 P Engines 2 P Squads 2 Full Seagrave tillers, 2 Brand new seagrave tractors and they are refurbing 2 existing tiller trailers.

Someone should get a vid of DCFD Truck 10 and Engine 13 going on a run. My dad just arrived back from there and told me the stick on Truck 10 is 135' ft.

This might be a dumb question, but why is the ladder sort of slanted down instead of level with the truck. I was just wondering because I haven't seen it before.

It gives the tillerman a better view of the tractor so he can steer accordingly. Philadelphia's newer ALF/LTI tillers are the same way.
