Wish more people could afford things like this..here in the USA, no one wants to spend any money...it's all dryall and popcorn ceilings. I do decorative vertacal concrete..and would love to do more work on ceilings and walls.
@brofun I want to build a fan vault ceiling. I am considering making plaster bricks to shape and reinforcing it w/ concrete. Unfourtunately, I'm an artist, have limited funds, I cannot afford to just pay someone, nor would I want to. I would appreciate any tips you might have so that I keep it within code, or angles I haven't considered. Thanks.
@PUFFTHEMAGICMARMOT Consider installing metal lath over your ceiling in the shape you want..then use lightweight vertical concrete mix..install it..texture it..then carve it then color it! There is a great site called vertical artisans...they have a wonderful variety of pictures that you can look at.
great job... very nice to see... i did quite a bit of this myself years ago having a small factory unit but had to pack up as very little call for it. out of interest... how much did that cieling cost?

As a tradesman I have a lot of respect for this type of work. I see less and less out there. Very nice work.
