i am intrigued with anything supressed so strongly. however what about the claims of extraterrestial manipulation of politics? or use of science to control people also the claims that falun gong is against interracial marriage or homosexuality? I have no bias here, genuinely interested in the official stance on this...or is it disinfo against it?
It is true that Li Hongzhi talked about extraterrestrials in a brief interview, but it isn't really relevant to the practice.
What most people in China consider politics is different from the concept in the west. The same is true with religion. Falun Dafa doesn't consider itself a religion since there are no rituals, no worship, and no stiff dogma. But getting back, Falun Dafa practitioners are required to never get involved with politics ie taking a role as a political figure.
As a scientist myself, I do believe science is a form of religion. There is a very strategic method to mind control, but (from my personal perspective) I believe that marketing/media is much more influential in America than.
There isn't a rule against interracial marriage, "If his Primordial Spirit is of the white race, he’s white;... It’s a different matter if he practices cultivation." I know a lot of practitioners who are in interracial relationships.
There is much more of a taboo among practitioners about practicing a second cultivation method than interracial relationships.
As for homosexuality, its rather a touchy issue. Basically, every religion and cultivation method is against homosexuality; however, among Buddhism, Taoism, and Falun Dafa there is no standardized law/rule. It is true, that if you really want to practice you shouldn't behave like that. A superficial comparison is if you were on a diet would you eat cake?
Chinese people got small penises. I hope I get to war with them sometime. My paps fried their nuts with cables tied to a car battery in the Nam, hope to do the same with them one day, or at least with Bush.
They were considering going to war with Korea because of some reckless statements they blurted a while back and their recent development in nuclear arms. I'm very skeptical of the US going to war with China considering that Kim Jong Il had died.
In all consideration, I just think its unacceptable that they will imprison, torture, and kill people for practicing religion or spirituality that isn't "registered." I've met 2 Christian and 2 Falun Gong missionaries who were imprisoned.
Why do we in the West allow trade with China? It's like making a deal with the devil. The West is ushering in her own demise. She trades with Saudi Arabia, a country that is actively seeks to conquer their oil thirsty trading subjects.
