The Cardinals have a night once a year where you can camp on the field while they are on a road trip. They let you in the locker room, dugout, many parts of the stadium.

No, they were holding a day every year on a Friday night when the Cards were out of town. You could camp on the field, they supplied food, and you watch the game on the jumbotron. You were allowed to tour the dugout and clubhouse which is where I shot the video.

This was a special occasion where the Cardinals were out of town and they allowed people to camp on the field (for a price). You got to tour the clubhouse, walk around the field, the stadium, etc.

That is video of the new clubhouse. The only thing different from my video is the carpet which was ripped out after it was ruined from the champagne when they celebrated the World Series Championship!

Becasue the stadium opened LAST YEAR. The Cardinals won the World Series in 2006, the first year at the new ballpark. 2007 is the second season at the ballpark.

The Cardinals hold a "campout" every year where you can camp on the field when the Cards are on a road trip. It includes touring the clubhouse, dugouts, pretty much everything.

You know, I remember hearing that they do it at a couple of parks around the league, but to be honest I cannot remember which stadiums did do that. Usually you can call the frotn office and inquire or the teams' website have that info.

For the last 3-4 years they have had a Friday night when the Cards are out of town and people can pay (donation to a Cardinals charity) to camp out on the field overnight and watch the game on the videotron. It's usually on one of the first Fridays in September.

It was an incredible experience. I camped out on the field last year at Old Busch, too, and got to tour the old dugout and clubhouse as well. Needless to say, the new clubhouse is beautiful. Twice as big, if not bigger! I'll be at all the World Series games in STL!!! Go Cards!
