  • that is exactly what he is doing. I;ve seen the courtship dance in my garden and I wish I'd recorded it. After he does that, he spreads out his wings and opens his beak a little and runs around the female. When I saw it, the female just flew off after he did his little display. Thank you so much for having recorded this as I don't think it is commonly known that blackbirds do a courtship dance.
