It's so hypnotic and errie, it's just different. This song is so hypnotic and eerie, she really does have a...unique voice. I notice that she gets a lot of criticism just because she doesn't fit in with "mainstream" music, but I love her voice. Some of her songs are just so sweet and cute and then there are songs like this, giving off a punk/trance vibe. There's no telling what she'll do next and that's what makes her such a great artist.

Actually they do. There's a little bit of a delay, and you have to remember that the Japanese o and u are rounded through compression, not lip-rounding. So it's going to appear in many instances as if she's not really saying the words. Watch any Japanese person speak and you'll notice that their lips move much less than speakers of English.
