R.I.P David F. Friedman, passed away today. One of the godfathers of grindhouse, sleaze, gore and exploitation & by all accounts an all round nice guy
ISFS was a great show--I first caught this on cable in the early 90s. They covered a lot of great subjects, but HG Lewis is by the best episode. HG is humorous and intelligent, and Friedman comes off a little sleazy but not too bad. Jonathan Ross's speech impediment/vocal inflection is kind of annoying, but is tolerable. I had heard they did a Russ Meyer episode, but don't know if it ever aired. These are must-sees for cult films fans. Thanks! Do you have the Santo/Mexican Wrestling episode?

Great documentary. I love Herschell Gordon Lewis' films. David F. Friedman's films are also great too. :)
