@AdonaiiisA They're automatically intertwined...the law is the end arbiter of issues involving government agencies. If marijuana was in the domain of medicine, by virtue of that it would be under the domain of the food and drug administration. Since the FDA is a government agency the law would end up having the same power to control it that it does now.

Here's the catch on the long touted and mysterious "Marijuana Tax Stamp Act" of 1937:
Congress allowed the trafficking, sale and or possession of marijuana IF those who wanted to possess, traffic or sell marijuana purchased the $100.00 per oz. tax stamp which would authorize that party to do so within the legal framework of the new law regulating marijuana.
In keeping it's desire to prohibit ANY traffic, sale or possession, the appropriate government agency NEVER printed the "tax stamp"...

besides, in terms of marijuana you have to look at it from both perspectives: youve got the users who want it to be legalized and the anti drug people who dont want it to be because they claim it causes "murder" and crap like that. personally this documentary has no effect on me in terms of making me not want to smoke weed, it just makes me want to try it sometime later.
