from the black eye skull, you get it close to the end of the last campaign level but only on legendary, just search for it on youtube, you'll find it.

He used the black eye skull... When you have gotten it every time you melee someone you get a little bit more health and this can go up to an over sheild

This worked for me once... it might not work for you guys though. Grab the rocket launcher in beginning of Metropolis, and kill marines. Grab the tank and kill EVERYTHING untill you get to banshees. Leave one alive. Make sure sputnik and blackeye are on. Get in the enemy banshee and flip it so one wing is in the air. Stand on the one on the ground, and shoot the one in air with rocket. If you are lucky and hit it in the right spot, you should go flying right up to the scarab gun!

Overshields comes from the Black eye skull, when activated the blackeye skull allows you to charge your shields into over shields. To charge them you need to melee enemies and/or destroy objects with melee.

You need to get the Blackeye skull. When you kill someone, ally or enemy, you receive part of an overshield. This shield doesn't deplete unless you are hit. You can also hit various objects in the game such as the toll booth gates on the Metropolis bridge on recharge your over shield. Be careful because your normal shield doesn't recharge either.

Ok that question has been asked so many times-did you watch the end where it says black eye and sputinik skulls are needed? The black eye skull recharges your shields by meleeing enemies which gradually goes to overshields :)
