Then she turned down Vincent when he proposed to her, and went off with Hojo *cringe* and then everything went all wierd and Jenova-y... Vincent had issues with experimentin on Lucrecia and got shot by Hojo for speakin up about it.

I've not played Dirge of Cerberus ( as it's not released in the UK yet) but we found out in Final Fantasy 7 that Lucrecia was killed. and if I recall, Vincent didn't get the chance to tell her how he felt about her ( although she probably knew anyway ). The scenes where you see Vincent in a suit and lucrecia talking will probably be flashbacks to when Vincent was a turk and worked with her.

this is how i see it
Lucrecia = Vincents Aeris
Yuffie = Vincents Tifa
Shelke = Vincents Denzel
i think thats a good comparison. Lucrecia was taken from him and they never had there love like Cloud and aeris.
Yuffie looks out for Vincent and protects him and hides her feelings but we know how she really feels like we do with Tifa.
and Shelke helps him move on from Lucrecia but more in a child friend way, not romantic cos i mean noo eww, and shes a new character like Denzel.
