I was exited to try these lipsticks because of this review and they are absolutly gorgeous colors. I got cosmopop and d'lilac and I was very dissapointed to find they dry out my lips soo much, even if I exfoliate my lips. I have to wear a lipgloss over them:/ also I think they're a complete rip off, they're more expensive than Mac! Not happy.

@lillsecrets Not so. 16 dollars is 10.10 pounds at the moment. MAC lipsticks in the UK costs us 13.50 pounds. But yes MAC is cheaper in the US. But to us using the MAC UK system mixed with lime crimes conversion system, Lime Crime is cheaper.

I have retrofuturist and great pink planet. One thing you didn't mention that would be good advice for putting on limecrime lippies is to make sure your lips aren't chapped. if they are put some chapstick on 15 minutes before or gently get rid of the scaliness of chapped lips with a toothbrush. If you put it on with even slightly chapped because of its high pigment color it will show your chapped lips in detail and ruins the look.

I've SO wanted D'Lilac and Cosmopop from the moment I first saw them, but my favorite make-up blogger says they are drying after wearing them for a few hours. Have you worn them for a couple of hours? Anyways, they both look great on you, even Cosmopop, in my opinion. D'Lilac's color seems to be made for you! I actually really trust your opinions. I have heard you dupe on some mac stuff that I totally agree with! Not everyone has the same lips. Some may be dryer than others. Its unfortunate that those people have criticized this lipstick. hey nickel, the cosmopop doesnt work on many fair skinned people with any hair color, you cant swipe this one on, try applying mainly to center of lips then blending a LOT with your finger. and I have experienced many drying lipsticks too, such as some revlon and some other drugstore ones.
