  • believe it or not i learned this waaay faster than 441 mills mess!!! even though i can only do normal 531 for a few rounds this is actually a bit easier than plain 531. maybe its because the circling hand motion makes it easier to catch the 3 before the 5

  • the siteswap simulator version looks differnt than yours.. yours is starting with underarm 5's and the sim. starts with overarm 5's.. just a fun fact=)

  • Sweet, thanks for the help!

  • Got it.. thanks

  • how can i install juggling lab?

  • @97icok

You don't have to install it =) just go to juggling lab (dot) com adn click on the full applet ;-)

  • @LevessTwentyFour i haven't got java how can i install it can u make tutorial

  • Great tutorials. I go here first if I want to learn a trick.... Request--- 51(shower) mills mess. I'm thinking that this would be pretty cool but no tutorials online and the siteswap generator is not helpful because of the cross arm vamps.

  • Wow nice tutorial, man!

  • Comment removed

  • 531 looks suddenly pretty good ...

  • Thanks for the tutorial. By the way, have you ever heard of a trick called luke's lobotomy? I can't do it yet but I've heard it's similar to a 531 mills except that it's the top hand doing the high throw.

  • good job, tks for this tuto

    please continue

  • i found 531 mills mess easier than just normal 531.. thanks!

  • Nice.

  • Thanks for the tutorials. It's great that you have tutorials for variations of tricks like Mills Mess. They are usually very difficult to find. Thanks again!

  • how long does it usually take you to learn a new patten to the point that you can do it the majority of the time

  • Great tutorial, but what simulator is it??

  • where did you get that juggling lab simulator???

  • where did you get the juggling lab or is home made changing the subject great video more more more

  • this is gr8

  • THANK YOU VERY MUCH ! your great!!!

  • at 0:38 you do 315 mills mess. thats the way i like doing it too. 531 mills mess im learning but its harder for me.

  • 315 is the same thing dumbass

  • @zach9500 put 315 mills mess and 531 mills mess into the juggling lab simulator and you will see that it is different.

  • it looks different but the passes are still the same... since every pattern is a loop a 531 is the same as a 315 and a 153

  • It looks different because they are completely different patterns, even though they have the same siteswap. 531 and MM have the same period (three), so you can layer them together in three different ways. If you think of mill's mess as starting from the throw in the crossed over hand position (as juggling lab does), then specifying where you start in the siteswap sequence actually determines which of the three patterns you're juggling.

  • you shouldn't call people names who you might have to see at a convention someday i'm pretty sure all siteswaps begin with the highest throw as far as notation goes. as far as 531 mills mess goes if you start it with a 5 under the arm it's going to look comepletely different than if you were to start with a 3 under the arm i dont play with juggling lab but im pretty sure dimmock is correct as long as it's in mills mess if it's regular 531 it'll look the same no matter what throw you start with

  • well shit, nevermind. i should read ahead.

  • It is people like you who make juggling what it is.

you have gone out of your way just to help others.

    THANK YOU

  • this tuto helped me a lot! than you

  • which program you edited your videos?

  • Sony Vegas Movie Studio

  • @jugglingboy777 juggling lab 0.6 or it was 6.0

  • how do you get that juggling program its awsome

  • Dude you make real good tutorials!! keep them up!!, also very clean juggling!

  • thanks for this tutorial dude it helped me soo much! :)

    keep juggling

  • nvm I got the program

  • where?

  • Google "Juggling Lab"

  • thanks!

  • Where can i get that program you used ??

  • <3 the ddr style arrows :-d

  • For me, this is a tricky one. I understand all the steps and I can do it like 4 times in a row, but it's still to unstable. I learned Mills Mess 441 during one day, but this one seems much harder to me.

Anyway, nice tutorial, helped me a lot! Thank you!

  • cheers

    what is song??

  • nice I got it! thanks for the tutorial.

what do the numbers mean out of curiousity? is there a list some where that I can look at? i know they are different throws but Id like to see all of them

  • The numbers are siteswaps - the mathematical notation for juggling. 5 means the ball is in the air for 5 beats, 3 means for 3 beats, and 1 is a pass directly from hand to hand. 531 is a simple siteswap pattern to understand - they're sometimes very difficult to understand when it comes to sync patterns and multiplexing. I don't think there is a list of all siteswaps, because there's probably a near-infinite amount of possible patterns... maybe I should make a video explaining siteswap notation..

  • thanks I get it now ;)

  • @eMretsiM can you make a video of how to use juggling lab?:)

  • great tuto i learnd it in an hour

  • is it easier to learn juggling by that program??

  • Yes, Juggling Lab helps for a lot of tricks, but not this one.

  • Whats program at the start? please. i allways wanted that !! were i get it? ty

  • Go to:

    jugglinglab dot sourceforge dot net

  • mad jugglin' skills dude.

  • DUDE!! BEST TUTORIAL EVER!! I watched it and after 3 mins I could actually run it!! thanks dude!

  • i love this trick! i wish i had this vid a few months ago when i learned this. This is the first 531 mills tutorial i have seen, and it is PERFECT! seriously man, your editing is A+ and you did an excellent job explaining how to learn it. You make the best tutorials ever!

  • Thanks =)

  • thats soo cool!!

    nice work man ;)

But can you please make a tutorial on how to juggle the 3 ball mills mess? (the "normal" one) Thanks

  • Awesome ! Just Perfect ! :)

  • This is probably THE best juggling tutorial I have seen in my life. Excellent breakdown and slowmo. You also have very smooth and easy-to-recognize movements. I mean I could learn 531 mills if I wanted to, right now. It's that good.

Unfortunately I don't have 531 nearly as solid as I want it to be :D

5 stars! You really made a great format for every possible tutorial!

  • Thanks, man!

  • tis pretty cool

  • omg what was that program?!

  • The video was made with Sony Vegas Movie Studio 6.

  • Nice work. You make great vids, man. Your editing is always so cool!

  • Awesome, great tutorial! Well done!

  • Hah, this is yet another one of my videos that has earned a 'Top Favourites' honour even though no-one has favourited it.

  • thats normal.....i even stopped paying attention to them becasue its BS anyway :)

another excellent tut that I needed :)

  • Awesome as usual, the way you present these tutorials is great. :D
