  • I am trying to read the bible but it is hard because sometimes I can't help but laugh.

  • It's not so nutty if you read the whole Bible from start to finish.

If you are an atheist reading the Bible, as you say in your video Title, then by all means, read us the the Bible, the whole Bible, and it won't be so silly to you, or me. Or anyone.

Here is a video about atheists reading the Bible, I made it. watch?v=eYcE-JPc4iY

  • @MrTrevorsChannel - Sounds like someone only read the title of the video or watched only the first 15 seconds. I give at least a dozen other examples in a dozen other videos why your collection of books is collectively nutty.

  • Mmmmmmmm. Eggnog is proof that God exists. :P

  • Gets me in the Christmas spirit.

  • The arrow at the end pointed at the other videos made not the subscribe button

  • WTF just happened at the end?

  • Youtube: Robert M. Price and Bart Erhman and send to christians. They will hate you as they cannot dispute anything these two professors state.

  • 12:45 : "Subscribe or teh internets will blow up"

-Haha, it's funny cause SOPA/PIPA will blow up teh internets

  • Huh well this is dumb because 1 there were three King Herods all in succession of the other Jesus was born during the rule of the 2 Herod. 2 by the time the wise men showed up (no one knows how many wise men there were all that is known is that there were 3 gifts so that is y people misinterpret that as three wise men) Jesus was about 2 or 3 years old so... And the shepherds went to the manger soon after Jesus was born. 3 the fact that you do not understand the point of this. Archeologists have

  • @CaptainIsaac2

not even that. heorid was only present in matthew, NOT the other three

  • @theworldismymarket So basically what you're saying is that the Bible can't even get the birth of Jesus right, but it's still true and you still believe it?

  • @hellobal100 And by what criteria do you know which is metaphorical and which is not?

  • to all atheist out there let me clear u one thing

Bible is metaphorical many thing or said metaphorically.. dont misinterpret metaphors...

    and demonize jesus

    comments welcome

  • Nice series.

  • you never see an old man eating a twix, or a Chinese homeless... weird init

  • lol its funny how you say that the next part is never mentioned, i remember back in the school nativity play i played the king and had to tell my soldiers to kill all new borns.

  • I went to Sunday school as a child and I did hear that story about Herod killing all the babies looking for Jesus. I'm not Christian (anymore), just fact-checking your fact-checking. Christians *do* know this story and you will hear it in church.

  • That song in the beginning was silly, I like this vid.

  • I got a BB gun in 81. I shot my friend Jerrod in the eye. It was stuck between the eyeball and eyelid and it was swollen and gross. But really funny.

  • Awesome vid.

  • merry christmas

  • I've always been taught that Herod had all the kids slain. But I live in England, so... Or was that the Moses story? I dunno.

  • Comment removed

  • man, i wish i had found your channel sooner!

  • thank you soo much for this video!

i just searched for it again and finally found it, i just absolutely needed to watch this now to realize there are some more people in this world who havent given up thinking yet...in all this fucked up christmas world

  • @amisy11 - Merry Christmas ;)

  • @43alley

Its nice to see someone actually using more than two brain cells at a time and presenting the facts instead of just creating them. Ooops, maybe thats why Christians are called creationist?

  • Here is the true story of "Jesus", (Emanuel's birthday). A young, whore in Bethlehem was ripe for Joseph's picking. He hit dat. Nine months later, due to middle-eastern laws of the time, they could not admit they had been screwing. So, they fabricated a huge lie. And the twisted christian faith bought it hook, line, and sinker. My guess is that Joseph went to his grave pondering if he was the baby's daddy.

  • I just love how the gospels trace the roots of Jesus back to King David. Naturally only through male blood lines, starting with his father, Joseph.

But hey, that's not how it went!!! Jesus wasn't the son of Joseph, since Mary was a virgin!!

  • Lots of inaccuracies with the translation of the bilble. In fact - didn't 'virgin' actually translate as something like 'young woman' and get completley out of hand?

  • God bless you as we celebrate the birth of His son.

  • @SummerSunshine1988

I just wish all christians would follow Jesus' example: don't produce offspring and get yourself killed in a horrible way. If you do, I'll promise I'll celebrate your birth too.

  • haha, I lol'd at the guy at the end with the thumbs down making the pllluhhhhh sound

  • Ack. I want to send this to someone, but I don't know anyone I could send it to and not get yelled at. :(

  • @wkunzelman1 Kind of sad. :(

  • So what? a story that was passed by word of mouth has had details altered, big deal... we do not know if the visitors were shepherds or four wise men, and the Bible doesn't come with a GUI and drawings in a vid to explain all to us... big deal. He was born, lived, that's a fact, and all who have ears and listen believe that he was born, lived, died and resurrected for love and for our Salvation.

    I believe! and I don't need details!

    (Awesome drawings, though!)

    Cheers!

  • Joesph is the step father, having no biological relationship, and is of the House of David.

Mary, the biological mother, is not.

Only thing mentioned about which house Mary might belong to is that her cousin is of the house of Levi.

Seems kind silly to give a predication (prophecy) that Messiah would be born of the house of David, when the "real" father is God, and the mother is of another house?

  • I've read the bible several times and everything you said is right! Historians have proven every fact that you presented in this video and they would tell you that you are not "harmonizing" the bible. I argued with my family over these same exact facts until I just left home. On top of that every denomination has it's own interupatation. Arguing with them is a waste of time, they are brainwashed. I loved the video and will pass it on to my crazy Christian family!!

  • Wait a minute, you mean Joseph was married and wasn't hittin that from the get go, what a loser. And Ya there was no manger or stables for that matter. They kept their animals in a space below the home they lived in and it must have stunk to high heavens.

  • Just imagine!

Imagine you are home with your boyfriend, when someone knocks on the door. You open it and see a man, saying, “Greetings, you are highly favoured! The president is with you!”

“Who are you?” You ask him. “I’m Mr President’s special envoy. He has sent me here to impregnate you so you can bear his child, because you are highly favoured by him!”

What would you tell that man?

  • @Shabneshinidareu Get off my lawn before I call the cops?

  • very good video. Christians, that usually don´t really know the Bible, will benefit from this video, if, of course, they takes logic seriously.

  • You should make a video about God trying to kill Moses and failing(Exodus 4)

  • my point is i have different perspective of the same event my bros went too.... Granted probably because i have bitter feelings because of that put down she leveled on me at her wedding.Yes, I am very bitter about that today. That was well just wrong.

  • @casablanca4381 - But it's not like your sister's wedding at all because you were there. None of the gospel writers were eye-witnesses. They wrote between 35-50 years later in a different country and in a different language.

It would be more like someone saying that he heard about a wedding that took place 70 years ago in England where the bride went straight home after the wedding and someone else said, "no, I heard she fled to Mexico because the mob put out a bounty for her death."

  • @casablanca4381 - and that was crappy for her to make you a candle lighter. A family member made me an usher one time and it was awful.

  • That was interesting. However i'd like to point out two different people can have an entirely different view of the same event.... i'll explain. my sister got married 7 years ago. I can tell you about the ball room , her dress, my dress, how she dissed me and made me a candle lighter to make an example out of me ect..... however if you ask my bros about the same event they won't remember as much detail i assure you.

  • @casablanca4381 Men minds and women minds are deferent so it’s not surprising that they would remember deferent things. As a generally rule if I can recall the information right, woman are better at English because they have more white matter in their minds which help them remember small details better at matching as men have more grey matter in their mind which helps them in math and their spatial dimension as in reading a map.

  • @casablanca4381 Do you or your brothers claim to be inspired by God?

  • @csnowutube I never cliamed they here from God. I'm not sure where you came to that conclusion no ofense. I was trying to point out people can look at event from different angles and have a different perspective of the same event

  • @casablanca4381 No offense taken. It was not a "conclusion", it was a question I thought of when you used your wedding story as an analogy for the gospel stories being different.

You and your brothers do not claim to hear from God, but the bible writers do. That is why it came to mind. There can be no different perspective in a perfect god's "Word". Thanks, peace.

  • Dude, you probably shouldn't use Wikipedia as your source...people could hammer you for that.

  • @aSongScout - Wikipedia is fine if it's for undisputed information. I also use it here because it's convenient for visual purposes.

  • @43alley dude! make more videos!

  • Most Christians don't want to hear any of this. It would shake the foundation of their beliefs. It takes guts to study and search, and while I haven't lost my connection with God, I certainly did with religion in general. I see the bible in more psychological terms. How and why man does what he does even when he thinks Big Brother is watching, or if he thinks he's IS Big Brother lol.

  • 07:00 While shepherds washed their socks by night all seated on the grooooound.... the aaaangel of the lord came down and said to use persiiiiiiiiil ;D

  • @ChibiMiddleFinger I found once a link on it. Google "jewish messiah" and you should get a page where they give you all the conditions that the messiah has to fulfill (according to jews)

  • the bible is a great giggle, gives us insights into bronze age man and his psyche. remember, "Blessed are the cheesemakers" :-)

  • I wonder if the star the wisemen were following were a ufo, the baby jesus in this video did look a little like an alien.

  • This is so interesting, and remember all the gnostic gospels. . . They tell a different story! :D

  • would it stand to reason that lack of census records were a result of the sacking of Rome?

  • I have never read the bible. I'm kind of curious...

  • @annpetasupporter You should read it. It's hilarious.

  • @annpetasupporter you should read it. and if you like action and fantasy read revalaion. but over all it's good laghf XD

  • It appears that many weak minded people think this guy made some point. They want to believe what they want to believe, and just decide everything supports their belief. We still have the ignorant masses with us.

  • @drystyx What exactly is your point? Who are the weak minded that you refer to? Subscribers of 43Alley, or Subscribers of the silly christian bible? If you disagree with what 43 has put out, then you must add to the discussion, by presenting some evidence that supports your position. You know that in order to call jesus the messiah, he had to meet certain conditions from the OT. He does not, but Luke and Matt try their best to fit him into that. OK, your response.

  • @veggiescrub I said the ignorant masses believe what they want to believe. 1806-19 at this count, so we see where the ignorant masses are, since the guy failed to make a single point, except "if it's in the Bible it must be wrong". Does the Messiah fit all the criteria in the OT? No more, nor no less than someone in the day of John the Baptist could contrive just by knowing the OT. So his video has no point. So thank you, veggie for proving my point, although 1806-19 already proved it..

  • @drystyx "Does the Messiah fit all the criteria in the OT? No more, nor no less than someone in the day of John the Baptist could contrive just by knowing the OT." Umm, I think that is the point of the vid. That the gospels were trying to force jesus into the fulfilling the OT. Since the story of jesus is not true, they fail in retelling the story. So again, I don't understand your point. Do you think the bible is a piece of junk, or do you have blind faith in the bible, regardless?

  • Ex christian... but the images the religion has put in my head will scar me forever -_-

  • I love these videos, thanks for doing them! My one problem, though, is that when you put the word "atheist" in the title, I can't send them to Christians to watch because they will automatically discount it when they see that word.

  • @july1962 - I totally understand.

But it's a bit of a Catch-22 in which I find myself. Without the "Atheist" keyword, my fellow non-believers would likely not find the videos in the numbers that they do. But with it, the opposition is not likely to watch them.

I'm considering re-listing the vids under a different name to get the religious to watch. Not sure.

In my newest video ("Satan"), I kept the a-word out of the title, but I've not heard much from believers yet. We'll see.

  • @43alley hey, I agree with listing your vids under different headings so the religious can watch with an open-mind and not automatically assume its devilish or demonic (You know them holy people)

I wanna send them to my family!! hahah bunch of fools believing this crock of bull!

  • @43alley : Is there a way of downloading the FLV file, and uploading it to july1962's account?

  • @43alley I was just thinking the same thing as july1962. But even if you removed the red flag words, most believers will shut it down as soon as they realize that you're presenting something that might not harmonize with their cherished fables.

  • @july1962 You hit it on the head. Christians will automatically refuse to watch. If they watched their nonsense, they would scratch their heads. They have the luxery to force people to hear their pagan beliefs and participate in pagan practices.

  • Brilliant...

  • Great video 43alley.

  • actually augustus took a census 3 times look into the acts of augustus so luke's gospel is correct the bible is very accurate when it comes to history it is God's word

  • actually augustus took a census 3 times in his career look into the acts of augustus

so luke's gospel is correct and the bible is very accurate when it comes to history it is God's word after all

  • Where does it say Jesus drank the wine?

  • @mavis996 a very fair inquiry. look up the wedding feast at Canaan (Joh. 2-10) . look up the advice given to Timothy for his stomachs sake (1Tim 5:23). look up the last supper with Christ and His disciples ( M'r 14:25). look up the term 'winebibber' ( M't 11:19, Lu.7:34) All these will support the term 'WINE.'To suggest otherwise would render CHRIST a hypocrite. Who gave the knowledge to ferment grapes to make wine? Who would dare call the water turned to wine GRAPE JUICE? What ,no discernment?

  • mary looks like a meth addict and joseph looks like he just shit himself.

  • @mattakudesu Well, I believe cocaine was widely used at that time... and as for Joesph... well.... It was before we knew about hygiene...

  • Luke 2.12! peanuts christmas special ftw!

  • Haha. I really need to reread the sillybook again, so that I can debate the absurdity of the religion even better.

    Thank you for this though.

  • I still want the leg lamp.

  • so don't celebrate xmas end of the problem.

  • @cordfluidnevoie christmas is just a stolen version of the winter solstice.

  • @hazza1o1 well so celebrate the winter solstice

  • Crazy lol

  • The last story with Clark Griswold, was the most realistic.

  • Jesus is an ancient Gary Stu. People today are actually worshipping a bad fan fiction. lol

  • I'm reminded of a demotivational poster with a picture of Mary holding baby Jesus and the caption: "Christianity-one girl's lie about an affair got way out of hand"

  • If Jesus could heal the sick and the suffering, why didn't he open a hospital or something??

    Selfish arsehole!!

  • @iruss71 If he couldn't heal the sick and the suffering then explain that ex leper in the Life of Brian!

  • @iruss71 Or even better why not fill the bible with general medical information like ummmm RATS CAUSE THE BLACK DEATH or you know something that might save a few billion lives

  • hehe you forgot one thing = the power that a born again christian has , see christianity is more than jusdt a head trip , christians have a taste of the power of the ages to come , there ls the diference , all beleivers have this power and it is witnesed every day and any day one cares to look for it, cheers and blessings

  • @valu777 So, what sort of power of the ages to come can you taste as opposed to imagine, in comparison to an atheist?

  • @connchri one can sample the resurection power , the heat and healiing power , the liqiuid love that swamps you , the power over deamons to make them leve ppl ,, see it here in action /user/ProphetTBJoshua

  • @valu777 RESURRECTION POWER!!! Or is it a trick to get you to buy special water and give power to charlatans?

What is that white stuff on that kids head??? Could it be baking soda?

If you want to see the POWER of resurrection just visit any grade school science classroom and witness the miracle of the baking soda volcano.

  • @connchri maybe valu777 has some sort of synaesthesia :P

  • the bible is metaphor and analogy. nothing wrong with that.

  • @Garycarlyle Quite alot of people would disagree. what's it an analogy of? what parts should people hold true, what parts should be ignored ? how is there nothing wrong with it when so many people take it as ...... gospel i guess?

  • lol

  • LOL I love looking at the look on Joseph's face. He's like "wtf am I doing here?"

  • Wow, Joseph had a lot of f**cked up dreams about angels telling him to do things.

  • Everyone seems to forget the times that these events took place. A time when history was barely kept in written record, or, they only kept a written record of things that made them look better. They would murder historians who kept records of bad stuff, because they didn't want to look bad.

  • @catobates histroy was well kept then but ppl choose to give more credit to these tales thus hiding and embellishing the truth

  • @catobates One the weakest arguments I have heard.Of course its history's fault...not the bible's!

Grow up and stop believing in santa.

  • @Stevoukos XD! History's fault? History isn't a person, it couldn't possibly be history's fault. I'm not talking about history, I'm talking about the people behind that particular history. Who am I more apt to believe?

Lying politicians who only show their side of the story, and only when it makes them look better (the history was stricken from record) OR someone who followed a man who supposedly was perfect as in he never did anything wrong, or committed sin.

    Pretty easy choice there, bucko.

  • How is Jesus related to David if he's not Josephs son?

  • DPRjones has the best storytelling voice

  • Am i the only one that noticed that they use the same words for sex as for talking to someone, eiter that or im mishearing the readers here a little

  • lol 13 people who watched this are still brainwashed ;-D

  • 13 people are pissed off because they didn't have a merry Christmas!

  • Lol, love how Jesus has red eyes!

  • @biggingeryeti Holy shit jesus was albino!

  • Of all the women God could have chosen to be the mother of the Messiah, why would she be someone under the rule of an infanticidal, power-hungry tyrant? Oh, duh! God loves people like that, since he is one!

  • i was thinking, why is thunderf00t reading this?

then i realized it was dpr

  • Brilliant! Using a online bible study tool to point out the discrepancies in the bible :D

  • Didn't know the bit about the three wise men essentially being agents for a batshit crazy king that allegedly wanted Jesus dead. If that were the case, why didn't he ask the wisemen to kill Jesus then and there? Hrm. The Bible is weird.

  • You guys didnt read these in school? I remember reading about this already in elementary, i think narrator told about genocide part on even one of our school plays.

  • You forgot the part where Clark conquers the Martians and brings Christmas to Mars!

  • if your going to re release theses atheist reads, PLEASE PLEASE dont get rid of the originals. there more powerful to me when that deep voice comes on. thank you

  • @MrPacnman May have been a copyright issue.

  • 43alley dont get rid of the originals videos! i love that deep voice that comes on there,it classic

  • Virgin; noun, a female with no offspring. Once you have a child, you are no longer a virgin. Then, again, they may have meant Mary was a 'virgin' because they didn't count anal. Who knows? What went on in the hills of Galilee, stays in Galilee. That's my motto. May god b-less.

  • @yeshuahfullofit Well actually a virgin is someone who never had sex in its' life. And it can be a female or male.

The bottom line is that she was raped by her husband Joseph while she was still very very young (they even used to fuck their kids back then so... pedophilia wouldn't be that rare) and then she had a kid and told everyone he was the son of god. Fast forward 2011 years later billions of people still believe the story.

  • @fablan6 I don't accept the version of events posited in the NT. I think the version presented in the Talmud of Jesus ben Stada or Jesus ben Pandira, makes a better 'fit' with the story of jeebus' birth. The fact that xianity is unable to nail down the time of his birth lends credence to this preceding tale. ; )

  • The census thing is insane, sending people home to be counted is batshit crazy, not even doable at that scale these days with state of the art transport systems!

Just another fake story of this book..

  • If Jesus was conceived without sexual union, then he is not of David's line.

  • 2:24 Considering that "Coming into" or "Going into" a woman seemed to have meant "having sex with", is it possible that Mark actually posits Jesus as the son of an Angel as opposed to being the son of God?

If so, that would make him a bonafide nephilim.

It would also reflect an evolution, if you will, of his ascendence to deity.

  • the Hebrew word is "nazir", by the way. i have no idea where the translator got the "Nazarite" from.

a nun is "nezira", and the verb ("lehitnazer") means "to abstain".

    כִּי-נְזִיר אֱלֹהִים יִהְיֶה הַנַּעַר

  • @amitnira Two forms of the Hebrew word exist in the STRONG'S CONCORDANCE. Both having a meaning of consecrated or separate. This is a group that took an oath not to shave their heads or engage in strong drink . Jesus, however, was labeled one only because he was a citizen of Nazareth. Christ turned water into wine at the wedding feast at Canaan. He also drank it with publicans and sinners when invited to their homes. To not, would have made him a HYPOCRITE. His enemies lied calling him a drunk!

  • @havenoneatall well, i don't know what the "STRONG'S CONCORDANCE" is, but i'm an Israeli and a native Hebrew speaker, so i can tel you that the word "nazir" means monk, and it has nothing to do with Nazaret. if you want to say about someone that he's from Nazaret, you say he is a "Nazrati".

actually in Hebrew it is pronounced "NaTZrat" and "NaTZrati", it's not even the same letter in Hebrew (צ vs. ז)

  • Your biggest mistake and it is BIG! is using the two gospels as being exactly the same account rather than supplementing each other to explain the story from at least two known eye witness accounts. The story is additive not the total exact same. There is a scripture that describes you exactly ( Romans 1:22 ). You do know that Atheism is a RELIGION? If there is NO GOD, of what value to go about trying to convince us? A GIANT WASTE OF TIME on your part!

  • @havenoneatall - Wow ... I didn't know someone could cram all the religious boilerplate arguments and all the atheist stereotypes into one single post. Well done! Well done indeed!

  • @43alley Feast on these facts 1) Shepard's don't abide in fields in the winter, still don't 2) Taxation would have been shortly after harvest (fall) 3) the wise men were not stated as three, but brought three gifts (your correct) 4) The wise men left Herod and waited to see the appearance of an angelic being ( smallest star is bigger than earth) standing over the YOUNG CHILD'S HOUSE How do we know? Herod put all male born two years and under to death. I'll back you where you are correct, only.

  • @havenoneatall - (1) You actually think that Jesus was born on December 25? Really? You realize, don't you, that Christians piggy-backed pagan festivals celebrating the Winter Solstice? Hence christmas trees, wreathes, yule logs, etc. It's the same with Easter and it's bunnies & eggs. The Spring Equinox.

    (3) I see your point, but not all believers agree (see painting at 6:33).

    (4) How does this help you? Luke says they went straight to Nazareth and not Egypt. Why leave out the massacre?

  • @43alley WHOA! I never said DEC. 25 was GOD's BIRTHDAY. Your reading too fast. Contrary, I gave you support that it was in the FALL! This whole church contrived story of CHRIST-MASS was brought from BABYLON to the CATHOLIC (UNIVERSAL} church and delivered to all the other churches. These groups all know better but refuse to tell the truth. You know that. I don't have to tell you. This will not support Atheism, however. Liars are Liars no matter what false ideas they promote.

  • @havenoneatall "I gave you support that it was in the FALL! This whole church contrived story of CHRIST-MASS was brought from BABYLON to the CATHOLIC (UNIVERSAL} church and delivered to all the other churches. These groups all know better but refuse to tell the truth. You know that. I don't have to tell you. This will not support Atheism"

I does however make you think...IF the Church is willing to LIE TO YOUR FACE about that, it would have no problem LYING about all of it..would it?

  • @666xDevilmanx666 , you have a valid point but if your going to recruit members to maintain a social club network one must have something palatable and not so obvious poisonous. It's the baby thrown out with the bath water cliche. If you look not too hard, the BIBLE states that all men are liars. I dare you to contradict this. Pushing the invented version of X-mass doesn't negate the birth of Christ. Men enjoy contriving stories to promote their religiosity . Atheist, are no different.

  • @havenoneatall " If you look not too hard, the BIBLE states that all men are liars. I dare you to contradict this. Pushing the invented version of X-mass doesn't negate the birth of Christ. Men"

LOL, That's what i LOVE about your religion....you're made to feel useless, worthless, dirty, decietful...but what is even more hilarious is how you're going to attempt to "prove" something, because all men lie.

With that logic, the Bible could be a LIE.

  • @666xDevilmanx666 Haha - it's really ironic when someone thinks they are making a sophisticated argument to help their position but they just end up undermining it.

  • @infinit888 "Haha - it's really ironic when someone thinks they are making a sophisticated argument to help their position but they just end up undermining it."

...& your evidence of this, is what?

Try quoting next time, so we know WTF you're babbling about. Thnx.

  • @666xDevilmanx666 Why so hostile right of the bat? I was talking about heavenoneatall and the response you made to him.

"LOL, That's what i LOVE about your religion....you're made to feel useless, worthless, dirty, decietful...but what is even more hilarious is how you're going to attempt to "prove" something, because all men lie.

With that logic, the Bible could be a LIE."

  • @infinit888 Well, is that NOT True?

  • @666xDevilmanx666 Of course it is - you're right and he's a moron for thinking that making an argument which undermines his position is supposed to help him.

  • @666xDevilmanx666 In high school chemistry class a few seasons or ages ago, scientist calculated the total cost of natural elements that man was made from. If my memory even holds up a little it was somewhere, like $23? So one doesn't have to have RELIGION to feel - USELESS, WORTHLESS, DIRTY ...etc. This will help you understand just how profitable you really are. Man lies, not GOD, in my RELIGION. Since all ATHEIST are of the human race, maybe? This leaves NO room for TRUTH in your RELIGION!

  • @havenoneatall How much do you think all the raw materials that it takes to make a cell phone would cost on their own? I bet it would cost less than $5. May be you could sell me an iPhone for $5.

  • @gupsphoo " May be you could sell me an iPhone for $5."

HELL YEAH! ME TOO...Sign me up!

  • @gupsphoo to sell you a i-phone for $5 would be an act of generosity and honesty. However, you already have free of charge a bill of goods called ATHEISM and somehow gained the wisdom that monkeys are adept at text messaging and are convincing other ATHEIST that my $5 ( i-phones ) would be of great value to spread their gospel of the GREAT BOILING SOUP BOWL.

  • @havenoneatall Firstly, how on earth did you calculate that? What raw materials are you using?

Are you also bothering to try to factor in production costs?

To re-create a person would cost a lot more than $23.

Yes, God doesn't lie, because you need to exist to lie, and there is no way for the God of the Bible to exist.

Also, atheism is as much of a religion as not collecting stamps is a hobby, or sleeping is a sport, so not at all.

  • @blackjeffrey1 "Yes, God doesn't lie, because you need to exist to lie, and there is no way for the God of the Bible to exist."

Whoever believes in the Bible and says "God" doesn't lie, obviously missed [2 Thessalonians 2:11-12].

  • @Mystrymeat Some people will try to get out of that, and they just can.

God didn't directly lie, he just messed with their minds to make them believe a lie. Not quite lying himself, but worse.

  • @blackjeffrey1 Well it depends which god you're talking about, there are (or should I say WERE) multiple gods in the Bible... El Elyon, YahWeh Sabaoth, Ba'al (Ba'al was later called Be'elzebub and claimed to be a form of Satan), as well as references to Molech... but it was later reinterpreted in 600 B.C. and was edited to include only YahWeh as a god while the rest were either made up or were demons. There even used to be polytheistic groups such as Elohists and Yahwists worshipping them.

  • @Mystrymeat Typically when god is capitalised, it reffers to Yahweh, or YHWH, the main god, and only official one of Christianity.

  • @blackjeffrey1 Well of course it's the only "official" one of modern Christianity since all the references to El Elyon (translates to "God most High") were changed to YahWeh Sabaoth (translates to "God of Armies") around 600 B.C. or so, around the time of second Isaiah, when the writers of the Old Testament were still figuring out how to write the rest of the book.

  • @blackjeffrey1 It has been a few years since I was in college chem. The materials that were measured analytically were given a dollar value. I don't remember exactly the cost. I know somewhere it can be found. You chem. majors chime in please. Why are you atheist trying to convince people of NO GOD? Why would you even be concerned if it were really true? Your damnation is EARNED in the fact of NO FORGIVENESS because you do not see a need for it. Funny you would have a moral code at all. WHY?

  • @havenoneatall I think the human body would end up being much more expensive than that. To get the materials to be able to use it, rather than mixed with crap, alone would cost more. I'm pretty the sugar all by itself would cost more.

We are not so much trying to convince people that there is no God, but rather trying to get people to keep their religion to themselves. If they did so, we would not have a problem.

  • @blackjeffrey1 the true CHRISTIAN doesn't force feed any person. Our REASONABLE SERVICE unto a loving GOD is to testify to that truth. I don't CONVERT you or anyone else. GOD alone has determined who belongs to Him. The rest of you remain HIS enemies ( as all of us once were ). Judgment follows not because you are a sinner, but because you are not FORGIVEN in CHRIST. Stands to great reason that you and others like minded will face your own judgment, but then you are banking on no GOD.

  • @havenoneatall A true Christian is out forcing the rules of God onto every living man woman and child. This includes killing homosexuals and a variety of other people.

Judgment does not follow. It is in no decent way a judgement. If God exists and he is the one of the Bible, etc, etc, then there will not be a judgement, he will let in those who have worshipped him, and torture those that didn't. That is not justice.

  • @havenoneatall It does not stand to reason that we will face judgement. It stands to reason that the Bible is a load of crap. It stands to reason that there is no deity.

Also, you are banking on your specific interpretation of the Bible. There are heaps of other deities that could exist. The god of the Bible is impossible (due to a contradicting definition). You also do not obey the God of the Bible. So you are banking on idiocy, and are more likely to end up in hell than me.
