    "i am scared" :D!

  • @Creetzor nice one D: scary

  • fuckign creepy man :s

  • Wonderful video, just like Idea and Bathing with Ghosts.

  • This is so beautiful in every way I can think of. So many symbols, so many feelings. I just hope so deeply that you'll make more videos, perhaps with these characters? Please, please do!

  • Really good and spooky!

  • I love that short story :D

  • What do you gents call those old fashioned radios? I've wanted one ever since I was a little girl.

    Very nifty video.

  • I'm not sure if anyone noticed but if you take a good look at the credits and add up the red letters it spells out, "I am scared."

  • I suppose the meaning of this is subjective and open to someone's own personal interpretation.

To me it says; deal with your evils with logic and composure, rather than assaulting them with blind desperation and resentment, as this will only exacerbate the problem.

The concept of control is vital also, the man lost all control of his fear, so it consumed him, completely. He allowed impulse to dictate his actions rather than his logic, ultimately he paid for this, as we all do in life.

  • Almost 100.000 views O.O

  • What - the- hell

  • Awesome...Dexter's cry/scream towards the end.

  • This is incredible

  • Erm... WHAT?!!?

  • Did the Stanley Kubrick have any part in this movie.

  • Ok i think its very deep and personal but i have one question, What man would write something this bizarre?

  • This is so bizarre.

    I love it.

    5/5

  • wow.

  • i definitely see the kubrick influences, well done

  • There is something dark inside you that wants to get out. Do not let it, we are not prepared. :)

  • 0:22 a cockroach is called a COCKroach fr a reason...

  • Why is Kubrick's name on this video?

  • @ignignok1337 it's a quote from an interview with kubrick about his film 2001: A Space Odyssey, he just replaced "2001" with "Acting with Certainty"

  • bug sex 1:19 lower left corner

  • 1:53

i guess he saw clockwork orange xD

  • Is this about Van Gogh and his madness?

  • After some research I found that Van Gogh did several paintings in this. The picture of the man crying at 1:44 till it fades to black was done by Van Gogh several days before shooting himself. The boots the demon had looks similar to a painting of Van Gogh's of a pair of shoes. The outside is obviously starry night by Van Gogh. The painting of the city and river where the guy looks for the shoes was also done by Van Gogh. The room also reminds me of another painting by Van Gogh.

  • @IeaturCoOkIeS10201 So my conclusion is this: The man is Van Gogh and the creator is trying to show how Van Gogh's last days were. And what happens to the man? I believe he shoots himself instead of being taken by the demon, just like Van Gogh did.

  • @IeaturCoOkIeS10201 I don't know if you pointed it out, but the way the man in the picture behind him at the end, I believe it is Van Gogh himself but not sure, anyway he is sat in the same position, just in the opposite direction. So I agree with you.

  • @IeaturCoOkIeS10201 I agree with your conclusion, but lets take it one step further. No person ever Acts with Certainty. There will always be some regrets for choices not made. I believe when he chooses to confront his personal demon, he may have thought it the best choice of action at the time. but what if he had just layed there and whined? thats a different story altogether, needless to say, I also believe the cockroaches are his mounting regret, as the movie continues, more and more of them

  • @IeaturCoOkIeS10201 are seen throughout it. Also I have to question the teddy bear and radio, could these also be comfort devices for the "man"? The bear is obviously one because he is seen holding it whilst looking for the demons doc marten boots. I also think while it does show alot of Van Gogh's mental illness and paranoia, that he himself couldn't get over alot of regrets in his life. Thus both kill themselves. One shoots him self, one jumps out of a window.

  • @CptSkillet the teddy bear represents innocence i think and I think it says that there must be a balance between innocence and the cynical feelings of the human heart (the cynical feeling being the demon)

  • @IeaturCoOkIeS10201 Exactly

  • @IeaturCoOkIeS10201

You're right. It is impressively piece of art. Even the not gamers can appreciate this!

Though I thought 2 kids accidently shot Van Gogh. They shot him with a pistol which made him die two days later. Search any searchmachine: van gogh shot by boy.

  • lol at the crickets banging it out on his bed XD

  • Whats the name of the story?

  • Reminds me of bipolar disease.

  • Whats the message behind this?

  • @Hazzbazzy I am scared

  • Someone knows the name of music played mainly, please ?

    Thanks. :)

  • @Intoxyde I recognise it from the There Will Be Blood soundtrack. not sure of the name though. Should narrow down the search for you though :)

  • @BattenburgBoy

    I haven't found it :(

  • wow

  • One of the best in a loooooong time

  • I... Love... This... Seriously Awsome.

  • hahahaha the cockroaches are doing it hahaha!!!

  • hey what painting is that with the boy in the chair crying? I want it

  • @greendogg55 It's a paiting by Van Gogh called "On the threshold of eternity"

  • @Letyson thanks so much

  • sounded like Dexter grieving

  • @Drokel yeah thats what I thought too, it sounded like right after he killed that dude in the bathroom.

  • @Drokel Sounded like Dexter to me.

  • @thelordkanchi yeah right after he killed that dude in the bathroom

  • To whoever did the voice at the beginning, can i trade vocal cords?

  • ...W-what the fuck, TB?! LOL I think I pissed myself.

  • It reminded me of clockwork orange

  • " I am Scared " anyone else spot that?

  • @d4mm1t666 where

  • That was incredible.

  • Boo for not crediting Arvo Pärt.

  • David Lynch. We meet again...

  • what's happening to wow machinima? I always get that independent film vibe from them, it's so high quality for a machinima.

  • hahahaha the bugs were humping.

  • that was VERY well done thanks TB :P

  • I love the fact that you are able to take many different things from this, and all depending on your personal views. That, personally, is what makes this appeal so much to me.

  • Like it although this sort of thing scares me, good job though fantastic vid.

  • That´s insane ... i love it

  • It was neat I guess. More odd than anything. Not sure why the WoW human model was used.

  • Wow...just wow. Favourited. Brilliantly made.

  • red letters in credits say I am scared

    favorited

  • The scream was a sound clip from the Dexter :P

  • This gives me the shivers... great video

  • This is very, very clever. Putting this in WoW form. Awesome

  • to @IxIJimboIxI plus anyone else who wants to know. in my opinion this this machinima is about the uncertainty of the unknown. He was driven to (dexter like) insanity from the fear of what might be. He faced his demon but now it is unknown where the demon is, if he will come back, and if he will be stronger. simple. im no genius, let me know what you think.

  • @jordenchris Couldnt it be said that the demon is still there?

Its just he can't personify it any more - the rage and hatred is all in his head - and that is where he needs to defeat it - not in it's boots.

  • @jackybuoy86 yes that is true, but that could also correlate with the uncertainty of the unknown. You know this reflects just how good that was. Were trying to decipher the meaning of it. Somewhat puzzle like.

  • Reminds me to a great extent a little of the classic movie "A Clockwork Orange." Brilliant film that also made use of the "Singing In the Rain" song and the narrators overwhelmingly calm diction while the character portrayed on screen is nothing of the sort. Likewise, you use Van Gogh comparatively to how Clockwork Orange used Beethoven. Don't remember the 'Certainty' bit from Kubrick's movie or of Burgess's book. Good machinima thou.

  • H P Lovecraft is allways win!

  • I have that same radio!!

  • I don't know what the fucking hell that was, but It's fucking amazing!

  • Odd but I liked it.

  • The red letters spell...

    "iamscared (i am scared)"?

  • Read the red letters in the credits

  • @Theninja114 I am Scared... hmm creepy

  • that was Awesome

  • not too sure wtf i just watched but for some reason i liked it

  • What.. the.. shit?!

    Haha really nice video

  • love the use of Dexter's freak-out scream

  • well.. it wouldn't let me like it... says "This feature is not available right now. Please try again later. lol but hey wth

  • The screaming near the end is taken from Dexter Season 5 episode 1.

  • Ha, the screaming was from Dexter. Awesome.

  • i am scared

  • Great video, highly unusual and unexpected for a WoW machinima, it's a really good depiction of depression escalating into psychosis. The video fits in very well with the story and the voice. It sure is a welcome departure from the usual WoW machinima's.

  • this wouldnt be paus from illdian that use to be in perseverance is it?

  • omg i was scared tht something would like explode in the screen at the very end =0

  • 1:16

    COCKROACH SEX!

  • 1:16

    COCKROACH SEX! COCKROACH SEX!

  • I love that the moan you used when the radio turned on was from Dexter, after murdering the man in the bathroom. Made it all the better.

  • hauntingly beautiful

  • exelent!!! EXELENT!!

  • Simply amazing, AMAZING, bravo bravo... I'll be expecting Great things from you

  • As soon as this film ended, my radio turned on! (alarm clock is set to two lol). Excellent film!

  • more like this please

  • Extremely well done. Bravo.

  • ok that was a mix of Edgar Allen Poe with some lovecrafting mix and at the end it asked me if i wanted fries with that.

    really enjoyed it

  • what?

  • i dont get it

  • @Thepudunkadunk then may I suggest going back to school or reading some real literature.

  • @1:50 is that dexter whining?!

  • 1:19 bug sex. o.o

  • @kajzar rofl just noticed that!

Still, was a very good piece of work, there, Solosuperior, Was very eery and chilling, to say the least.

  • PERFECT

  • Fucking amazing

  • FUCKIN' ART 'N SHIT!

  • Nicely done! Simply a true work of computer art. I love how you used the Van Gogh Painting "Starry Night" in the night sky background

  • interesting short indeed, only thing i could critise about it, was the demon could use alittle work; everything else was pretty dam good i especially liked the outside sky.

  • Nice video. but what the hell is a duodenum?

  • @wildcatnip the duodenum is a hollow jointed tube about 10–12 in long connecting the stomach to the jejunum. It begins with the duodenal bulb and ends at the ligament of Treitz.

  • That was fantastic.

  • so this is where red eye has been hiding...

  • Wow, I liked that. No more to say good.. good job

  • See, this is why you should never play a Human...

  • lol spiders in his doudenum

  • Just shows what living in fear and regret will do to a person. Facing your demons is not something to be ashamed of. They can return, they might in deed return. But who's to say that their going to return in full, you faced them once, they cannot hurt you as easily a second time.

So what good does it do you to worry about it? Nothing.

@qmorris2 There's nothing wrong with the caption.

  • any1 else right this down and show it to freinds 2 look like a poet

  • 1:16, lower left corner.

  • @Mickeesee LOOOOL

  • @Mickeesee hahahahahah

  • @Mickeesee

what Is it that im supposed to see?

  • @Slykillrs Bugs gettin' it on I guess

  • dexter scream

  • good ending

  • "I don't like to talk about Acting With Certainty too much because it's essentially a non-verbal experience. "

this is cool but don't be a pretentious dickhead about it. also: if this experience was "essentially" non-verbal, then you should have cut out the apparently non-essential narration, which contains -- yes, you guessed it -- words.

  • Wow, very creepy and very surreal. It was different from what you usually see, loved it!

  • very good!

  • OMG creepy

  • great stuff bro! /subscribe

  • That is some fucked up thriller shit.

I could totally see that in a movie.

    Job well done.

  • Total sent me and this was awesome!

  • Eerie, yet thought-provoking and well-made all round. Excellent work.

  • Chilling, truely chilling. Fastastic work, it's one thing to take an actor and make a film on a set than to making a video from a game where not all of these animations exist. I know I can do one but not the other.

  • Its talking about if you face your demons, you will never know if those demons will come back (Demons of course meaning things you want to get out of your life) and in this case, it drove the man mad waiting for his demon to come back.

Is that enough for your unintellectual minds?

  • @squirlkingSUCKS lol i'm surprised someone actually had to post it. I mean it was so obvious i started doubting myself and thinking that it was something much mroe deep than that. Why can't people attempt to use their brains?

  • I just dont understand it.

  • I noticed you put Franz Kafka in the "thanks to" what book/story is this movie based on? because I really like the sort of crazyness in this short film.

  • @VicceB The story was written by Stanley Donwood who is the guy that does the artwork for Radiohead CD's/posters etc.

  • TB brought me here....Eccentric!!! I love it!!! Liked / Favourited / Shared

  • You scared?

  • I dont know how to explain it, but this was absolutely brilliant

  • weird shit

  • TotalHali but send me

  • ...now that was very special, but very interesting. Great job :)

  • I love the way he reflects the man in the picture at the end. :)

    Awesome Job well done. :D
