TMac is not a superstar anymore. Yes the team is clearly better off w/o him. The chemistry is better, the offense is better. When healthy, they are a better team (they made the second round of the playoffs last year w/o him, no coincidence). Problem is, they are not healthy right now. Good riddance TMac.

NO. We need a healthy Yao, a healthy Lowry, a healthy Ariza, a healthy Battier. The reason the Rockets are not in the playoffs are because of injuries. This team is so much better off with Kevin Martin (a player who actually plays hard every game and fits into Adelman's motion offense well) than TMac.

i don't even think lebron was in the league when tmac played on the magic, and if he was it was his rookie year. and kobe? i don't know about "way better than kobe". kobe was on a great team, so he didn't have to shoot the ball as much, or score as much like mcgrady did in orlando. so of course mcgradys stats look a bit better than kobes in the early 2000's. still, i'd like to see him play another complete season, in which he's 100% healthy and see if he's still capable of 25-30 PPG.
