@RENEDU2 Society isn't dumb, but people get caught up in work and school. They push health aside and don't focus on themselves. This video just reminds them of what is important.
@Katiethedil *most* of society is dumb... by there own choice... which really stems from there parents choices.. remember as kids were taught to OBEY and RESPECT our parents and authority.. and then society thinks(if you can call it that) that judging is the same thing as questioning or having critical observational skills.
@RENEDU2 compared to society 99(1913) years ago yes... and I may be speculating here but since 1950..when flouride was introduced to toothpaste.. and shortly after and ever increasingly now being added to our water supply is when things started to go from bad.. to worse... *especially* after 1970..
why do mental health practitioners just push their own beliefs of life as some kind of absolute norm? if healthy eating is good, why do millions everyday rely on fast food?
@coa1979liw Because it takes a little more effort and knowledge to eat healthy. Fast food is convenient, cheap, marketed relentlessly, and most people don't truly understand how much those foods affect your health, happiness, stress levels, etc.
hey Corrina, Sure Oxygen is the best drug you can get against depression and a healthy nutrition will have a positive effect too. (Some good Jazz won´t do no damage - I´d recommend Count Basie as antidepressant, make sure you have it loud enough.) The problem is that someone who is really deeply in it will be extremely hard to motivate to take some outdoor exercise on his own . Same goes for taking care of healthy nutrition.
drugs that address the root of emotional problems: cannabis and ayahuasca. I smoked cannabis once (did not do it again - only once but it was not good) and got much better from depression since (it has been 5 months already). If the herb is good, it makes you think about things that bother you... it may REALLY do a lot in healing your soul if it is good stuff
Anxiety, Depression, OCD.. All related. If you don't feel like doing anything about it and it feels bad, medication can help get you outta the stoop then ween yourself off of it. If it's mild and not chemical imbalance then I'm some of this works.. A doctor can say it's too mild to treat if they want, so going to see a conservative one wouldn't hurt.
CONSERVATIVE PEDIATRICIANS!
There are ways to help these things without medicine, but if you feel like giving up... get help.
@samikalastaja 1) Anything that's in your body that's not supposed to be there, like that taco bell lunch, that drug that your doctor gave you, acid build up in your joints, or even pollution you've drank or breathed in.
2) Because most scientific testing is more about making money than solving people's problems. It's why most medications target symptoms instead of diseases. You become a long term consumer if you have to keep buying more treatment.
.hi, I was suffering from low energy low mood and I knew that it was nothing to do with the way I think or how my life was going because I was happy in the way my life was going at the time. and when I tolled my Dr. about it she was too quick to prescribe anti depressant which didn't help other than getting me hooked on. then I did a researched and found out that I could also be vit D deficient and asked to be tested it came down to that and I had only 20% of the Vitamin in me which is very low
thank you for your video and I totally agree with you - I run a guitar studio and have sometimes ten students in a row so i used to drink energy drinks - but now I eat whole foods, get plenty of sleep and exercise outdoors - can you do a video series on breaking addictions or bad habits
these are all true. and i know it. yet i fail at EVETY SINGLE ONE of them.. its good to have someone remind you of the obvious we easily forget or ignore ;)
Hey Corrina, you look so relaxed and rested after a few other Psychetruth videos I watched. :-) This was an excellent subject to cover with so many people on depression or anxiety medication. I can't wait for the next lesson to see what you have to offer.
@matzchase I think that very thing was the biggest mistake psychetruth ever made, attracting degenerates to their channel with cleavage and sexual themed videos. Matz, go watch some porn and let other people enjoy the video for what it's meant to be.
@Vigatos Don't ever call me a degenerate because I enjoy the sight of a woman you prude bastard. My preferences don't affect the ability for other people to watch these videos either. This channel started in a way and it changed throughout the years and I still watch each video.
Every single point on your video is so important. I give you five stars!. I look forward to your next video on depression. I am sure that is going to be as good as this one.
Thanks Corrina!

fu©k conventional medicine. fu©k big pharma. They never did jack $hit for my health... no where near what my naturopathic and TCM docs have done. I'm a new person because of naturopathic medicine... where as with conventional medicine I would have been addicted to antidepressants long ago if I chose to give in to their BS, oppressive paradigm.

Two questions: 1) What are these toxins that are always discussed about? "We need to get rid of the toxins in our body." So - what toxins?
2) Why people should look for alternative ways of treating their health using the methods that are not scientifically tested?
