Windows 7 setuo.exe fails after discovery with "cannot connect to server"
So I cannot install anything. Everytime I rerun the setup it maps to another drive letter.
I now have identical maps w-z :(
I can save files to the public share and access them through Computer but I cannot access via web browsers IE or Firefox.
I can ping it ok. I disabled Windows firewall. Router config??? Not impressed with my intitial setup experience at all! I'll be calling WD Tech Support.
Achtung WESTERN DIGITAL !!! Bitte lesen. Die Firma ist mit Abstand der sruppellosesten Festplattenhersteller weltweit. Fingerweg von WD Platten, es ist festgestellt worden, dass einige Platten vom Werk her so eingetsellt wurden, dass die Leseköpfe ständig parken, und nach ca. 300 000 mal ist die Platte im Arsch. Ich bin ein geprellter Kunde und werde diese Warnung über all verbreiten in der Hoffnung, dass diese Betrüger Firma dadurch an Umsatz einbüßt. Skrupellos !!!!!

Hope WD puts up a video instruction on how to open up the WD Live, and extract the files out. I just lost my precious files because of this junk.
