@xoxSandyxox1976-Commonly used to monitor the sound of your own instrument/vocal more clearly because you can control how loud you hear yourself compared to the others. Sometimes there might be a click track too...Those "hearing aid" looking things (called in-ear monitors) you see artists wear on stage do the same thing in addition to saving your hearing. Obviously, I can't tell you what she was listening too here...for all I know she could be listening to a futball match.
