  • omg so awesome, i want want want

  • @tottonfemale Cool :-)

  • Nice, v nice, all thats left now is for start up smoke effects :)

  • @wotyagot :-) Now i've had this a while, the next thing is to get a bass reflex speaker(s) fitted to improve the sound over the factory fitted speaker.

  • dude where do you get these train set i want them

  • @myloveiskiabet These aren't from train sets, some seen here are from train packs or bought as single items. Can bought from many model shops, online off the net, toy & train fairs, ebay, magazines etc. Check out the likes of Model Rail mag, Hornby magazine etc.

  • @ay76 thks alot man my mom just got me some stuff like this and it is awsome thks alot

  • @myloveiskiabet Your welcome.

  • my next investment maybe to go with the sound chip pinza :P

  • @bwarrrrk Cool.

  • where do you get dcc sound decoders??????? or do you have to buy the trains with dcc sound already installed because hornby just seem to do standard decoders and saphire ones whats the difference between them?

  • @infernodood3 Google DCC sound decoders for where to buy. The likes of Hornby, Bachmann etc now do some loco's fitted with a sound decoder, as well as loco's fitted with non sound decoders.Sapphire decoder has more features & higher amp rating than the standard decoder. See Hornby web site for more details. The higher the spec of the decoders the better the performance, like smoother running etc.

  • does it have lights

  • @gm66power Watch the video again!!

  • Is it ST paddy?

  • @thomasisbest23 Yep, it is.

  • one of these trains was named after my granddad check it out "driver robin prince MBE"

  • Not the Deltic Class 55 as seen here. These were only named after racehorses or uk regiments. The loco that carries your grandfathers name, is a class 37. Easily identified as the 37's have three windows on the cab front, where as the deltic has 2 windows. Nice one & a honour to have a loco named after a family member, some thing to be very proud of :-). Cheers.

  • Hi. I need wheels for my Hornby MK2 Coaches. Can you help me if I use R8218 or R8096? Regards.

  • @citaro31 Depending on which type of coaches try: R8096 Cheers.

  • ive been to harburn hobbies and its a good shop but not as good as scograil in ipswich

  • @MrJezza31 Not been to the one in ipswich, will have to check that out some time. Cheers.

  • I would have this sort of thing but i'd start accelerating and the train would cut out where my tracks a bit dodgy

  • @andyc5155 May be a case for the permanent way guy's.....

  • hey its me gain do the bachman coupling that look like hornbys work ok on the hornby couplings

  • Yes, should do. I've had no probs with mine pulling Hornby rolling stock. Cheers.

  • so where does the sound come from speakers or the train itsself ? NEWB sorry

  • It comes from a sound decoder fitted with speaker(s) inside.Cheers.

  • Superb. Just bought the same.

  • Thank you. If all goes to plan RSG will be out on the ECML around june 12th this year, be great to see it in full cry :-) Cheers.

  • hi there, i just got that deltic today, i love the sound it makes alot more than my 37. But for some reason my gaurds whistle doesn't why and i don't know why... :S cheers.

  • Are you operating the correct function for it?? Cheers.

  • Hey ay76! Please look at my new Deltic startup vid!!!

    Cheers 5*

  • Have done, nice one ho chap :-) Cheers.

  • hi i love all ur disels and ur layout

  • Thank you, cheers. :-)

  • is this 100% standard from bachmann? sounds good

  • Yes, this is standard & straight out the box. If you get chance see if your local model shop can give you a demo, think you'll be impressed. Cheers.

  • I have decided to get one the warley show next week. I am impressed with it. Sound is the future!

  • Cool, i'm going to the show as well, so time to get the camer working over time & a big hole in my wallet :-) cheers.

  • yes I will have a rather empty bank account this time next week - just seen your 25 now. Thats another to add to the list!

  • :-) cheers.

  • Nice sound on that, I think you have the Elite same as me (bit noisy when sellecting functions) I am going to try the dynamis it is silent.

  • I'm using the Elite, I'd be very intrested in your findings with the Dynamis. Cheers.

  • oh my god i got to get that

  • what is a spirax valve? thanks

  • I think it is what generates the vacuum for the brakes.

  • no what it does is it basically what you can hear when the loco is shut down that clicking noise , it takes the moisture out of the air.

  • Cheers.

  • It sounds great from here but are you happy with the Bachmann sound?

  • Yes, i'm very happy with it. Actually sounds better than the camera has recorded it. cheers.

  • when you make it move do the engine notches and stuff go automatically?

  • Yes, when you make the loco move off, the engine automatically will notch up etc. You'll find there will be a slight delay before the loco moves off, just as per real life.Cheers.

  • Brillaint sound! I am pondering weather to get DCC sound chips for my Locos. (when the layout is finnished)

  • Go for it. Really brings another dimension to the layout. All that's missing here is the clag from the exhaust. Saying that i've seen it done on a DCC fitted loco, had a smoke gen on it that was in sinc with the sound decoder. Cheers.

  • I have heard of somthing called a "Sleath Smoke Gen" that is realy good, all you need to do is solder the same ohm resistor as the left rail insert to the gen and it works great.

  • Cool.Cheers.
