An atmosphere on the moon wouldn't make any observational effects for an earth-based astronomer. atmosphere does not imply rain, obviously, case in point is Mars. thin atmosphere allows for clouds, but doesn't mean rain. and atmospheres are not a force field! the earth has been struck billions of times by meteorites! but we have tectonic activity, which recycles the crustal layer.

The density of the moon has very little to do wiht the gravity. Confirms he knows nothing about maths.
The calculation of gravity requires the masses to be know and the distance separating the masses.
The formula he quotes is wrong (obviously the fact he admits to failing maths says it all).
