In defense of the Democrats.

It's easy for a commentator like Olbermann (who's too gutless to even bring opposing viewpoints onto his show) to whine about how the Dems didn't end the war. However it's a very different thing when you're in a position of power and you know the cold hard facts that bringing the troops home prematurely will only cause an entire nation to completely collapse.

But then again Olbermann is more interest in spewing sanctimonious platitudes then anything else.

Sorry walrus, but I listen to what they say. Liberals consistently espouse socialist rhetoric and support ever more socialist programs and laws. The term elitist doesn't refer to how much money you have, although the superrich tend to be more liberal in my experience. Rather it refers to the idea that smart or special people (read politicians and old money rich folks (not the taxed to extinction "working rich") should "take care" of poor and stupid people through massive government programs.

When you think about it, it's very true, as I questioned why the media was presenting Obama as anti war considering his AIPAC speech, his threat to Pakistan, his continuation of occupation in Iraq, his expansion of military spending. If MSNBC was trully anti wa then they would've been cheerleading Kucinich or Ron Paul even they chose Obama.
