Guitar Lesson - Allman Brothers: Whipping Post

One thing though - You're making the same mistake I did for 25 years - The root chord is actually just a standard A bar-chord, not a minor-chord. Watch one of the old Allman Brothers live videos where they play it and you'll hear it. I didn't catch it until I was onstage playing it one night and caught the other guitarist doing it the right way. I STILL have to correct myself sometimes.
