I think the parts of this clip that work best are the historical footage. Troops ducking and covering to DAF is awesome. The parts that work least are the parts that are newer and have nothing to do with the subject matter. Like MC Hammer. MC Hammer dancing to DAF is silly and clashes with the WWII footage.

Das Lied ist übrigens kein Nazi-Song, sondern benutzt Namen wie Mussolini, Adolf Hitler und Jesus Christus als Provokation.

Damals suchte man in der aufkeimenden NDW nach unverbrauchten, neuen textlichen Inhalten, die sich vom Deutschen Schlager absetzten.

Gruppen wie DAF u. Wirtschaftswunder waren Vorreiter der NDW, bevor sie später durch kommerzielle Acts wie Nena verschlagert wurde.
