  • Hahaha it 666 views.

  • I used to follow the Sikh religion. Alot of the teachings and the history I found to be good and decent. For example Sikh armies, when fighting, would never go to the foe's home and rape/steal recently widowed women.

It was quite hard to leave when I looked at alot of the Abrahamic religions which were brutal to the core. I always wondered how people could chose Abrahamic religions - by far the most barbaric of all...Ah yes, my parents don't know about my heathenism :D

  • That was a short survey.

  • The end part made me think of a quote I've heard somewhere: "Religion teaches us that sex is the most disgusting and sinful thing you can do; so do it with the people you love most."

  • Bloody hell these bastards just cannot stop lying. Wife climaxing every night?. In their dreams. I wonder what became of the guy in the blue shirt who was asking questions with that smarmy sickly grin? Now what was his name?????? Begins with an "H" i am sure. Oh yes that's it, Haggard whose wife/girlfriend was obviously not climaxing because good old Ted was packing it away with a male prostitute. Priceless absolutely priceless.

  • Maybe he was doing it with both of them, you know what studs these evangelicals are :-D

  • just today i was thinking "if i was born budhist or hindu would i have fallen away....are these also as full of shit as xianity? if i knew more about them, would i think the same thing i think about my own seeded religion?

  • Fear pushes mankind to do many things. Greed in religion has always been it's fall from faith.

  • The Christian religion has some good sides. The art, culture, music, the symbollic story's are on par with the best mythology.

    But thats the problem.

Symbollic and mythology. Thats how it should be looked at. And if you look at it in that way, you will see lots of wisdom and beauty. But most theists and atheists look right passed it.

I'm an atheist or agnost. Depends on how you look at it.I'm a fan of mythology and the old-testaments is imo one of the best written mythologicall works.

  • It's not that we look past those things, it's that we can't overlook the Jealous, torturing, Murdering god Christianity imposes on humanity.

  • Yeah, but thats more like the big bad wolf, loki, hades.

God in the bible is just a good badguy. I don't care if my fictional characters are jerks or good. As long as the story around it is good. :)

It should be seen as symbollic or mythology. You would already be taking it to serious if you would say you can't overlook the bad things he does.

Would be the same as saying. 'Well, we see the goodthings in little red ridinghood, but we can't overlook the horrible things the wolf did'. :)

  • I think its more that there are so many people promoting it as truth and telling everyone they'll go to hell if they don't believe.

No-one would be too upset with Christian sects who followed the good and let everyone else believe what they wanted.

I don't have a problem with Wiccans, Buddhists, Taoists, Kabbalists, Hindus, etc.

They don't go around knocking on peoples doors telling them about the loving God who will damn them to hell for not joining a church. :)

  • 'I think its more ... they don't believe'

    I agree.

But I take those people no more serious than vikings who claim wodan won't let me in valhalla. I think the religion/ideology is always

about 50% of the problem. The other part is the zeitgeist/culture/leaders.

If times are hard, any religion and ideology will become intollerant. And if times are good it will slowly losen up again.

The problem with religion is that the intollerance always seem to dissappear slower then it came.

  • Youtube censors the word of God! LOL

    You gotta love it.

Words from the bible, used in the context of bible scripture are ****'d out. :)

I knew it was a dirty book. LOL

  • Of course, you can turn off the profanity filter in options, but its still funny. :)

  • So your willing to believe in a God that does horrible things? As long as there's some good stuff, it's ok...... There's some good rationality for ya.

  • Where did i say i believed it?

why would i otherwise say i take religious christians and hell as serious as vikings and wodan.

Only thing i'm saying is that I don't find the religion all bad as it has brought some beautifull art, music, and story's.

That Christians themself misbehave or have a poor understanding of reality and morals isn't 100% because of their religion but also part of the Culture and zeitgeist.

i also think little red ridinghood brings around some good stuff.

  • I didn't say you believed it. I'm just saying that people are wiiling to believe in the Christian god who isn't that great of a guy to say the least. It's mostly in fear of hell or just ignorance. I don't think Christianity nor Islam should exist, that's my opinion.

I would sacrifice the art and culture to take back 9/11; wouldn't you?

  • make art, ect. with our without religion some just fail. We do not only want to rule, we also have the inherent desire to be overruled. :)

That some people really believe it is actually sad. But i still think its a good written story.

And if people argue its not good because its voilent or the main characters is an ass, they don't realise i'm not taking it that serious.

Religion is about 50% of the problem. the world would be better without, but not before i know what will take the place.

  • Some people are willing to believe anything. As long as it takes their personal responsibility away. They want to have authority, rules, escape from freedom, have all the answers. If you forbid religion they will form new groups who take the place of those religions.

Without religion people will still cause 9/11 like things. Only under other banners. (to counter my own point for the heck of it)

People will still make art, only under other banners. Humans are just humans, they fight,

  • "I would sacrifice the art and culture to take back 9/11"

    I wouldn't.

But religion didn't give us art and culture.

It just define the direction those things went in.

Initially, religion sprang from man's creativity and his need to organize his world into a uniform and easily explainable place.

    Religion didn't create culture.

It and culture both are the results of man's quest for order.

  • Agreed.

  • THAT IS HILARIOUS. I love the two guys at the end claiming that their wives climax every dang time. I wont say its impossible (it isn't I have a friend who is like that... lucky woman T_T) but it is highly unlikely.

Good video and very good points <3

  • In truth most people don't choose their gods, they are born with them. The great majority of people have the religion of their parents.

If you are born in the mideast you will probably be some variation on the Islamic theme. If you are white and born in Alabama you will probably be a Baptist or Methodist like everyone else around you and your family.

I do agree that either islam or christianity is a very poor choice. Especially in the west where you could choose to be a Pastifarian. :)

  • I can't imagine what goes through a woman's mind when old sweaty Haggard comes a calling to imbibe in the fruits of her loins. I think even Helen Keller could "see" what a douchebag that guy is. Instead of asking those clueless dorks about their sex lives, why not ask their poor, pitiful wives about their sexual prowess? LMAO

    Another 5 star vid, thanx

  • Another nice vid Mr. Corthew

  • that final clip is so funny it made my side hurt from laughing.

  • Lol Mr.Ted Haggard showing off the great evangelical sex life. Little did his flock know he was getting butt banged by a male prostitute. Was this the great sexlife he was talking about? You guess

  • Great video, sir. I've wondered this myself. Christianity is just so cold and colorless.

  • That's because the whole thing is the soul-less product of committee thinking.

  • That might well be the most beautifully scathing description of Christianity I will ever hear.

  • "... having been given a fair and honest introduction to each one, and having been allowed pick, without preconceived prejudices, the one that best suits your understanding of morality and your need for spiritual growth, why did you pick Christianity?"

What person has ever been fairly and honestly introduced without preconceived prejudices to all religions? I'm not sure it's even possible to be such a person unless you've lived a life cut-off from any culture or media.

  • That is exactly my point. :)

  • lol I love that clip. The irony is jaw dropping.
