He has no tone or control for that matter and has no stage presence at all. I was just at their show in Chicago and they were fucking amazing... they came back out and played Man In the Box followed by Would, just amazing, and the crowd was really into it
Big props to William Duvall. He is a great singer, and the songs pretty much sound the same with his voice. To all the "haters", you have to remember that NO singer is ever going to fill the shoes of the original. I don't care what band it is. You could have the brilliant Eddie Vedder singing in Layne's place and it still wouldn't be the same. I miss Layne, but at least AIC has moved on and is still rocking. If they never got back together, then the same people would be shouting for a reunion.

And Layne Staley died in the year 2002, so how could he write about Jerry's move if he died one year before that move?? Layne Staley did not write this song. It's not possible. So don't say they have no write to sing this, cause Layne had no part in this song. Get your facts straight.

I was just at their show in Chicago and they were fucking amazing... they came back out and played Man In the Box followed by Would, just amazing, and the crowd was really into it

Big props to William Duvall. He is a great singer, and the songs pretty much sound the same with his voice. To all the "haters", you have to remember that NO singer is ever going to fill the shoes of the original. I don't care what band it is. You could have the brilliant Eddie Vedder singing in Layne's place and it still wouldn't be the same. I miss Layne, but at least AIC has moved on and is still rocking. If they never got back together, then the same people would be shouting for a reunion.

@Robiskool1234 Thing is that check my brain is in reference to Jerry Cantrell's move to LA, California in the year 2003. It deals with the fact he is an ex drug addict living in a major drug area. And Layne Staley died in the year 2002, so how could he write about Jerry's move if he died one year before that move?? Layne Staley did not write this song. It's not possible. So don't say they have no write to sing this, cause Layne had no part in this song. Get your facts straight.

when i first heard duvall singing, i thought that he sucked. i thought that AiC would be done within the first year that they had the new singer, but now that i've heard more of him, and now that i've heard their new stuff, i think he's a pretty good singer. i still think that he doesn't even compare to layne, but u can't replace layne. i think this singer is about the best they can get, unless they got scott weiland, but i doubt that would happen.

@ItsTimeIDisappear09 German crowds sucked for just about every band at this festival. the most lively ive seen the crowd at Rock am Ring was when Korn played Blind and the crowd jumped up as soon as the song kicked in a couple years ago
