A few good driven dogo's, but I saw only 1 who acted the same as mine dogo. I alone could not hold him when he saw the bitingsleeve, he pressed the (rather hard) sleeve close. even with extra protection the atacman his arm was completely bleu after a round withe my dogo; But He only was so drive to bite in the sleeve for his reword afteraf when he could carry the sleeve around. he was a real sportdog and only attacts the sleefe, he was not interrested in the trainer who had the sleeve on.

anything a word about "a dog". so I'm asking myself if you just want to attack someone, or if you really are interested in the breed dogo argentino. I also wanted to say that you don't have to train a dog to protect their owner, even a golden retriever does that. By the way, I met yesterday a golden retriever, canadian lignes, this dog needs to work more than every dogo I ever met. With a dogo, you can do much more other stuff, like tracking.

do you have a dogo?that breed should love people..and as you said, the dogo was created (not so long time ago..), and hunting is not the same as attacking people..the dogo is not a huntig dog like the weimaraner, deutsch kurzhaar or a breed like that. These breeds really work, the need to work with their owner, de dogo just follows the pigs or pumas and attacks them.

I don't want a golden retriever, the dogo is an allrounder, this breed don't need to attack people, neither hunt to be happy.

and read the standard of the dogo argentino. People who likes such stuff should buy themselves a german shepherd, rottweiler, Riesenschnauzer or something serious like that. Dogo is for people who love the breed, because they are fun and good dogs, I have one, once a week 2, I take them to work and it doesn't makes me happy to see some people changing the side of the street, I don't have them to protect me, I have them beacause I like the way they are, not the appearance.

this female is afraid, you can see that clearly, watch her body attitude. This is not the right thing to give a dog self esteem, what the dog learns is "I'm afraid and I need to attack, instead of going backwards" totally the thing we don't want to have! I don't know in which country you live in, but in switzerland this man couldn't do this long time...Take the video to an expert (like a veterinary specialised to behavior) and ask the person for an opinion.

I disagree. They were all dogos (except the one little mutt) and they were all at different stages of development. Some of the dogs had very high drive. Some of the dogs had no drive at all. He worked with all of them equally.

dogos dont fight they kill, quite well. and they dont have to be trained for it either all instinct. my dogo has killed many raccoons and possums, she tries to eat them after she instantly crunches them. it is very hard to teach them not to do this.
