  • As a M.A. resident i apologize for our bullshit spreading to you.

  • Here in Alabama you cannot open carry. However, it's easy to obtain a CW permit; as long as the applicant isn't a convicted felon or have a rep as the town drunk they get the permit. I'm 30 and have carried since I was 19, I've needed it on a few occasions too. Most people here also own guns and are familiar with shooting them. I thank God that I live in a state where the 2nd amendment is respected. Open carry would be great though, wish they would add that to the law books.

  • Vermont you can can legally carry with no permits or licenses at 16! Just need a parent to sign something to agree to it. I'm getting a glock 19 for my 16 bday. Can't wait!

  • Texas is not an open carry state, I wish it was.

  • Comment removed

  • Also I would like to point out that non N.H. residents need exercise caution if they decide to open carry in N.H...In N.M. there is open carry but if you read the fine print it's only for N.M. residents.I have a Texas CCL so I can carry concealed in N.M. and I assumed I could open carry as well until I had a Santa Fe L.E.O. explain to me that I did not have the right to open carry in N.M. due to me not being a resident. He did allow me to retrieve my ITWB holster from my vehicle and conceal it.

  • I like a lot of what you are doing but just to clarify .....Open carry is NOT practiced in Texas as stated at 3:45 ....Keep up what your doing though and while your at it work on your states reciprocity stance toward Texas residents.....as of now I am not allowed to legally carry in N.H. even though I have a Texas CCL....VT ,Delaware and PA are the only states north of VA on the east coast that have a reciprocity agreement with Texas.

  • i dont mind a police officer asking someone about their weapon if everyting is cool then have a good day. you shouldnt take it personal. many people dont walk around wit a 45

  • whats wrong with you people you think you can just do what you want they are called gloves why would you touch that shit.... oh a gun thats cool

  • >texas

  • Put on some gloves.

  • you guys should wear gloves. trash is gross. but good job!!!!

  • @MrCpipes Agreed, trash, bacteria, spores, viruses, glass, metal, animal waste, runoff, auto fluids, etc. - not the cleanest areas

  • Hot Mom!

  • aww dude just because you have a gun doesnt mean you shouldnt wear gloves ,, picking up random smoke butts BARF!!

  • Just one note: Texas does not allow open carry.

  • Thank God I live in a state where i can legally open or conceal carry a fire arm, pistol or rifle. As long as you can legally purchase a hand gun you can conceal/open carry.

  • does anyone know how old you have to be to open carry in Louisiana?

  • @usops88 The same age you have to be to buy a handgun.

  • ahahahahha porcfest!

  • Open Carry of handguns is illegal in Texas. Only the open carry of longguns is allowed, and it isn't very common actually. I Support you guys 100%

  • nutjobs

  • When you think about it, it really is fucking outrageous that the government just takes away our constitutional right to protect ourselves.

    Signed sub-human serf in California

  • Don't pick up litter without wearing leather gloves and using a picker upper. Very easy to have a fungus or much worse contaminate your fingers and lead to sepsis. All cops are scum. Not one cop alive is able to defy orders to enforce unconstitutional "laws." Too bad they are all being forced to become criminals as there are many cops trying to serve honorably in a dishonorable, wretched zionist system. Serving honorably in a corrupt system is just not possible. Become a nurse or fireman.

  • @DeutcherKonnig just get off of youtube

  • @FireEmsResponse Fuck your mother, rat bastard...then kill yourself, BITCH!

  • @DeutcherKonnig

    You are a complete idiot.

  • @RetSquid A complete idiot vs just an "idiot?" At least I'm "complete." lol

  • @DeutcherKonnig

Yes, you have acheived complete idiocy. Congradulations, please do not reproduce and pass it on.

  • I'm from central Virginia and you are correct, it is common here. Also from what I've seen the cops here are no where near as intrusive as New Hampshire's police. Our Governor is very 2nd amendment friendly and the police at gun shows wave at you while you walk out with your AR-15 on your shoulder. Texas, however, is not an open carry permissive state..basically only on private property are you allowed to openly carry. Kentucky and Virginia are the only states I've been to where its common.

  • PorcFest? I hope there were good lookin' woman and the male to female ratio was about even. And I also hope there were plenty of condoms for everyone.

  • Sorry... Guy at the end is nuts. Open carry is not openly practiced in Texas.

  • Great work guys but please, maybe wear some gloves to protect your hands!

  • subbed

I've been watching your videos all day today... you do a way better job of showing both sides of the issue than the mainstream media does.

I also enjoy your coverage of grassroots groups like this.

  • Why not have a concealed carrier pickup? Just show everyone that CCWers are normal everyday people who care about the community,

  • @TooroptheMerc ummm, how would anyone know you were concealed carrying ? The point is to exercise the right to open carry and to let people see that gun owners are good people and not freaks.

  • Well take a look at what cops and national gaurdsmen did to people during Katrina. They were disarmed and detained. I myself am in the military and would like to think they would disregard orders but reality is, it is simpler to be and remain a sheep.

  • if I could move to NH I would

  • ok i support this but um... what does picking up trash and open carry have to do with eachother? do you just pick up the trash cause you're out there anyway and its better than just standing around, or am i missing some symbolism here? O.o

  • So you can open carry a handgun as long as it isnt loaded? Can you carry ammunition?

  • @Valliant2007 no, you can open carry a handgun fully loaded for personal protection in that state.

  • What an idiot.

  • Excellent job Dave :-)

  • Concel carry is better if a criminal knows you hace a gun he just might shoot you first!

  • @serioushamster No, if he knows you have a gun, he's running in the opposite direction.

  • @hyuugaamida that depends if the criminal is armed or not, althought if your among a crowd of people and every one is open carrying then its a differnt ball game all together wouldnt you say

  • @serioushamster Even if they're armed, they realize that unlike you, they had no formal training. They may as well shoot at a cop or soldier (at least in states like TN where you have to go through several hours of classes and carry a license for the gun(s)).

  • Great message!

Open carry for the safety of the community and litter pick-up for the benefit of all as well!

    Awesome!

  • Texas does not allow open carry, or even printing, by those who have a concealed carry permit.

  • YOu do not need the states oermission to exercise your RIGHT to keep and bear arms, which is spelled out very clearly on the SUPREME LAW of the land, which the state of Texas and all officals in that state have SWORN AN OATH to uphold , protect and defend.

the right to keep and bear arms, shall NOT BE INFRINGED <-- how is this not freaking clear, my 7 year old understands it why can government and other morons not

  • @keneyed209 yes they do.

  • angulimala28 asks, "Or are you intending on using it on shoplifters, litter droppers, speeders, fine defaulters?" No, those are simple violations and law-abiding citizens carrying, whether open or concealed, are not enforcing the law, but rather execising their constitutional rights and right to protect themselves (and others) from violent crime.

Robbery, sexual assault, and attempted muder are great examples of violent crimes. Vandalism, littering and speeding are not.

  • Wow, how sad to live in a place where you feel the need to carry a gun to protect yourself.... thank goodness I don't live near to you..... and I would rather move than carry a gun with the chance of it being used inappropriately in any myriad of ways.... NH must be hell to live in if you feel the need for a gun.... come live somewhere nicer.... but without your sidearm!

  • So you're going to move to a place with absolutely no crime? Where would that be?

  • You don't have to have a total absence of crime to not need to carry a loaded weapon! Or are you intending on using it on shoplifters, litter droppers, speeders, fine defaulters? and those murderers are likely to pull your weapon on you and show you how to use it or else they will commit the crime when you are no where around to use it... our murder rate is much lower than y ours and we don't carry guns and nor do our officers.... thank goodness...

  • Angulimala28, you should be aware that people will open carry firearms in any American town you happen to live in. The police are widespread and packing heat. Do you accept an armed police presence because their supposed purpose is to protect others? Why is it wrong to protect yourself?

  • @hapspir The statistics suggest that these weapons bought to protect yourself get used to kill your family and friends far more often than to save you and your family from "unknown" rapists and murderers..... either accidentally or intentionally....

  • If I allowed statistics (either real or fabricated) to dictate my actions, then I'd never leave my apartment. I'll decide what risks I'm willing to take. For example, I'm far more concerned about death from poor nutrition than from a gun accident.

  • Hapspir, I really don't want to offend anyone, we just disagree. In the UK officers don't carry guns except for a tiny firearms group... we would probably disagree on this and on death penalty... but I don't want to upset you... I just prefer my society without guns... may all beings be happy.....take care, x

  • I prefer my society without salt & vinegar potato chips, but that hardly gives me the right to confiscate them all. Happiness begins with tolerance. If you don't honor your neighbor's choice--including the choice of self defense--then you are creating a society of strife.

  • Yes but there is a limit to allowing our neighbours choices isn't there? When his choice so adversely affects my choice? But I am grateful to you for your respectful responses.... disagreeing with respect is the first step to a healthy society... so thank you.... best regards from the UK..

  • A person who shoots or threatens to shoot you with a gun adversely affect you. A person who simply owns a gun does not. It is possible that a person may attack you with a gun or a cricket bat or a left hook, but everyone in a free country is innocent until proven guilty.

  • @ angulimala28 how sad to live in a place where you feel the need to vote. Thank goodness I don't live near you. I would rather clue you in to basic freedoms than let you live in a thoughtless manor. Your local must suck if there are no recognized rights. Come live somewhere nicer..... but please don't vote.

  • Why do you need to have an "Open Carry liter pick-up" Why not just do a "Liter pick-up" and bring your firearm with you if you want? Was the purpose to clean up or show off. Carry to protect yourself, not project yourself

  • keep up the good work!!

  • You do realize that most cops and national guardsmen support personal protection and the seconds amendment. I would quit my job before I was ordered to take a gun away from a law abiding citizen.

Despite all the anti police comments on here, I still stand with you all while at the same time wearing a badge.

  • Right on bro. Law enforcment is why we have the way of life we all enjoy. Things are starting to look strange out there and Me being the sheepdog type I hope that they never come to my door telling me to give up my guns.I live to protect my loved ones and the folks next door if they ever feel that they're in a bad situation. Just hope you guys get here to take over before it's too late.

  • @2204Alpha Too bad there's not enough good cops around. My Cousin is one of the good cops in Jersey. Its all about respect, responsibility and reason! Be safe, Be good!

  • @2204Alpha Agree 100%. And it is great to see open carry activists doing something productive rather than baiting LEOs into confrontations. I know about 12 LEOs and they all say the wish more people would strap up. It makes their jobs easier. What OC activists need to realise is that the public is slow to chance their perception about open carry and will likely call the police when they see a citizen carrying. The police must respond to calls so just cooperate and be a good example to the public

  • @2204Alpha Its not the good cops they are talking about. most sane people understand that cops can be good or bad. Having cop friends there is something among you that I cannot and never will agree with. Cops do not give other cops tickets due to some unwritten cop code. And thats just down right horrible.

  • @2204Alpha > we need more like you on the force, then, good sir. Thanks for all you do.

  • @2204Alpha You are a rare breed and I support officers like you.Thank you for your honesty and service.

  • @2204Alpha Have you ever heard of the " New Orleans gun grab" ? New Orleans police and guardsmen from all over seized guns from law abiding citizens. Many guns were destroyed on site and other were taken and not returned. This was at a time when people had an even bigger need to protect themselves. I'm sure there are good cops out there but most cops in New Orleans think they ARE the law. They have no regard for the 2nd amendment. I'm glad you are what would be considered an "oath keeper".

  • @2204Alpha wow.. just.. wow

  • @2204Alpha Here in Tennessee, I have only had 2 run-ins with officers and both were actually really good encounters. The first I saw a guy wreck and stopped to assist him until the police arrived. Police showed up, made sure they same my pistol without says "hey i have a pistol". Cop actually turned his back to me multiple times so I felt good about that. Another was when it snowed, i walked up the road to see how bad it was and the cops had a portion blocked off. They saw my gun, said nothing.

  • @2204Alpha And that IS commendable. I'm glad to know that officers like you are still out there trying to affect some positive change. Unfortunately however, your breed is becoming a minority, and the institution you serve is being changed from a SERVING, and PROTECTING entity, into one that is a tool for suppression.

  • @2204Alpha You are awesome

  • @2204Alpha ya but your only 1 of them. Most of them dont support peoples rights and thats the problem. your saying you support that right. Not the 10,000 other rights people have that 90% of police violate almost every day. Your a cop and i bet you profile people all the time. I bet you goto court openly say you profiled them and they still get charged. The point is you cant stand next to cops who do drugs, drink and drive, steal, allow it and then say its ok i support your right to bear arms

  • @2204Alpha good for you, and i hope you still feel same way when job, career, and family finances are threatened by police higher-ups that don't agree with your resolve. In the military, some procedures taught for airport security duty following 9-11 went over some of the Constitutional lines that many soldiers were not aware of. And those that were aware were forced under duress to perform wrongful duties. Yes, many police and soldiers know the 2nd Amendment, but fewer know all of the rest.

  • @2204Alpha Tell that to the 80 year old grandmother that gets beaten by cops in the parking lot. Tell that to the kid that gets shot to death as she sleeps on her couch by an incompetent SWAT team pulling a no-knock on the wrong house. You better watch your words as you claim to be a "good cop". If you really were a good cop, you would be exposing corruption within your department. Have you done so? No? Well guess what, son? You are not a good cop.

  • @2204Alpha

Unfortunately the weapon confiscation post - Katrina does not vindicate your positive stance towards citizens rights.

  • @2204Alpha Wish there was more of you out there my friend..

  • if the national guard knocks on your door for your weapons, just don't let them be taken.

  • If I were this boy's mother, I would take my kid and run in the other direction as quick as possible because Ridley probably wants to touch him!

  • You make a lot of sense. Some of these guys just don't seem to understand that we should not draw negative attention, it does nothing good for our cause to try and push guns on people in the same way the looney left tries to do with so many things.

  • Some States passed laws after Katrina which make restricting firearms transactions, and the restricting of firearm carry illegal during martial law or emergency conditions. I know they did in Tennessee.

  • Open carry is not brandishing.

  • We in Ohio can open carry, but I don't!, I do not want the bad guy to know I an armed, because if the BG knows that you are armed then he will kill you straight out.

  • That is a myth and has never happened. Open carry deters crime.

  • BS.

  • Post up a link where a regular citizen was killed "straight out" by the BG because the good guy carried openly.

  • Boob!. Even some guns owners are idiots, I try and stick with the ones that have common sense, enough said.

  • Comment removed

  • That should read "You're a dead beat" not (your a dead beat) ): again the public Schools have failed us. Just because I disagree with you!, you call me names, you sound like a Democrat (:

  • Comment removed

  • Yes you have the right to call people names, but what kind of message does this send to viewers about gun owners?.

  • I hate to be harsh friend of your an idiot attitudes like that of constant capitulation to these anti-gun cowards doesn't accomplish anything, they've clearly shown through a long history that they are only interested in taking your guns away and doing it by any means they can, rather than capitulating to these people by constantly hiding our guns. We should be free to carry them open or concealed, whichever WE choose.

Also don't mischaracterize brandishing it makes you look uninformed

  • um you guys to know that you actually cannot carry open carry Texas right?

  • Conceal and carry is actually an infringment of the 2nd Amendment. Criminals like tend to conceal weapons (not calling you a criminal). Open carry tends to show that "Hey! I have a firearm that is legal and if you want to harm me I can legally use it to defend myself". Conceal carry is turning a RIGHT into a privilage. it is all about the 2nd Amendment.

  • i dont think you can loose your 2nd amendment right.....

  • I bet she was packing heat in that purse.

  • I thought the times for 'Western'-movies were gone a very long time ago. Are you guys applying for a remake of 'High Noon', strutting up and down the streets like 19th century cowboys?

    - let the thumbing down begin - :-)

  • you should wear t-shirts thats state open carry and ur webpage on the back of them to get more attention and knowledge out there when u do that.

  • god bless you ridley. Are there any good colleges in NH? Id like to live there to participate in the free state project.

  • Most of the colleges in NH are sub-par (that's why most of my high school classmates went to school in Boston). But if you insist, there's Dartmouth (an Ivy; if you can get in and afford it) or Plymouth State (if you're not opposed to public education).

  • Great report, Ridley. Thanks. Keep up the good work.

This is an excellent project. If folks want to repeat this for their community it may be good to get woman and kids in the group to telegraph to the public that it is a friendly event. Also the open carriers should smile a lot. I'd like to get some open carry events going in my community.

  • ha ya please dont come carrying a gun openly in texas... you'll get arrested pretty quick...

  • you can open carry...i do it

  • Absolutly correct. It is called brandishing if it can be seen by the casual observer. I live in Texas, and have a ccw. The instructor made that very clear to the class when I took it the first time, and also when I toook my renewal. If a cop can see it or it is considered brandishing a cop can take you gun and your ccw. Check the penal codes it is stated prety clearly. Google the Texas concelaed hand gun act and find the link.

  • Yes ..You are correct..in some states with CCW you CANNOT carry openly. Go figure. Here in PA, it is not illegal, BUT the cops frown on it. You only need a LICF (License to carry Firearms) if it is concealed.

  • I can't believe the hangup people have over carrying guns. Open carry would cure a lot of people of their fear of guns. Not all, some people are so irrational that there is just no hope for them. Society has been conditioned over the las t40 or more years to cry and run at the sight or mere mention of a gun, it's ridiculous. The liberal movement in our country has in large part has turned our society into dependent, irresponsible, sheep.

  • TEXAS does NOT practice open carry !! Do it and You'll get ARRESTED... Just a heads up. That guy in the vid made a mistake.

  • go over there, ask for the minutemen, and look at their waist line, then slap yourself hard.

  • I live in Texas, open carry is illegal.

  • I heard that in that MIAC report they warn law enforcement of people who volunteer for community service amongst a bunch of other harmless stuff which I thought was bizarre. I immediately thought of these open carry litter pick up vids and wondered if this is partially why they would suggest someone who would do something like volunteer community services was a potential home grown terrorist and/ or malitia men.

  • nice me him stock in quebec and they shoot you in open if you would do that ...and thats funny cuz my families came from tenessi bedford and hive been raise in gun and my dad use to said shoot first and ask question is better than being dead leaving question ...

  • bienvinue a ridley report t4

  • Do you need a permit for open carry in Nashua, or can anyone do it =s

  • I am all for open carry, but the guy in the white t shirt has too much of a hard-on for his gun. "I got one in the chamber, hehehehehe". Easy there, big guy.

  • There isn't open carry in Texas, yet... Get your facts straight. BUT, we are trying to get it here! If not I'm moving to Arizona.

  • When we get it in Texas, IT'S ON! I will be carrying everyday.

  • Good to see citizens teaching others what is legal.

  • Well put,jeff61177.Nice to see them good 'ol' boys' picking litter with bare hands have they never heard of Weil's desease? No doubt germs'll get 'em long before a bullet!

  • You turned me off to your group when you started badmouthing all people from MA. There are patriots and traitors in every state.

Don't look for an easy scapegoat. Don't be devisive. You have no evidence that the complaints came from MASS people. Your own videos do evince the fact that NH LEO's are the ones harassing open-carry people.

  • Imagine that, people have somthing better to do! Yay! Antisocial people having social interactions! Yay anarchy! So we should NEVER question anyone about carrying guns? If someone just shot your mom, dave and was walking down the street away from your house. You bet your but you'd want that guy questioned by police for his open carry. see my point yet? ooh the big scary cop is talking to me! run away, runaway! Its called community policing. maybe you should raise awareness for that? hmm ?

  • Hey I'm from Ma. but I'm not a dong. Not all of us are just the rich bleeding heart lib's. F them I won't open carry in my state to to bad gun laws in Ma. suck

  • Escape from MA. Check out FreeStateProject*org

  • I hate this whole liberal vs conservative/republican thing. If you totally agree with one group of people, you probably arent thinking for yourself. I am pro guns but dislike much of the other views republicans have.

  • Yes, it is the false Left/Right Paradigm. Divide-and-Conquer.

  • I recommend those "grabber" things instead of using your hands! Some of that trash could be broken bottles and cause cuts.

  • and some times you come across bottles of pee! or a diaper:(

  • It's called exercising your rights so that the Govt. can't take it away.

  • I don't see why not.

  • its much more comfortable than concealing under cloths plus everyone knows. so you've got a criminal deterrent or the first target either way I'd like see who else is packing and what their using

  • True, but I disagree with that thinking. They may have a shot at disarming you when caught off guard. I prefer CCW. :)

  • Tactically, there are issues with open carry, both for and against, but I think more against. However, it's just wrong to say there is absolutely no reason for open carry. Everyone's situation is different and some may prefer open carry, AS IS THEIR RIGHT. But even that totally misses the point of this video. I think the best reason to open carry is to increase public awareness of our rights and counter the anti-gun bias that is increasing in our society.

  • I agree, I never said OC was right or wrong. I just pointed out that CC will almost always be the better option.

  • CC only works when most people carry guns, because if you have it concealed but your in an area where there arnt many gun owners, the criminal isnt really going to expect you to carry a gun and hell continue as planned

basically OC is just better for areas where theres not many other gun owners, but thats just how i see it

  • thats why more & more good people should be open carrying, so the dooshbag criminals would be outnumbered 100 to 1.

then they may have second thoughts about their actions & lifestyle and hopefully move to a more anti-gun state where they along with organized crime, police and aristocrats can have a gun monopoly.

  • "it also says "look at my psuedo-penis"."

Who has more of an issue? Those who mistake a firearm for a penis, or those who want to take everyones penis' away?

As for tactical advantage, how many LEO agencies or military outfits use CC as their primary carry option?

  • google FREE MORGIE

    he's no terrorist!

  • Males naturally want freedom. Females naturally want to be controlled. This is why it is insanity for a woman to be in a position of power.

  • Moving from Texas to New Hampshire is exactly what I did...

  • Texas should be the leader in this. Maybe real Texans need to move to New Hampshire and leave this place for posers like Bush.

  • But in that guys last comments about where open carry is commonly practiced he mention TEXAS which does not have an open carry law...But it does need one! Spread that around

  • Correct, open carry is illegal in Texas, but concealed carry is not. If anyone is Texan, do not go by this video to determine whether open carry is legal in your state or not.

  • why do you carry your gun backwards?

  • badguys are shocked when you shoot it at them upside down.

jk, it's a cross carry. You put it on the weak side (left for right handers). It's good for if you need to draw when you are sitting down, driving or something.

  • open carry is completely illegal in texas

  • Go to opencarry . org and sign the petition for open carry in the Texas part of that forum, or just do a Google search for Texas open carry petition.

  • pretty cool, but use some gloves next time guys.

I prefer concealed carry myself though.

  • Hi everyone, if you get a chance look on youtube for this video, Luby's Survivor Testifies At Gun Control Hearing. What she said to congress was the best thing I have ever heard for gun rights.

  • Hi everyone, I am from Mass, and I support our second amendment freedom. I am outraged by what my state tries to blame NH for gun crimes that happen in Boston. I know the truth and so do many of us in mass, but we are still out numbered by liberals and I hope NH keeps out liberals by not voting for them. Keep up the good work and " Live Free or Die".

  • good idea, nice work!

  • It is true that we've got it pretty good here in Virginia, but it should be pointed out that open carry in Texas is not so good. Contrary to popular belief and misunderstanding, open carry is NOT at all legal in Texas.

  • I know a lot of FSPers tend to avoid Nashua due to the "overflow from Mass" but maybe we need more there. Nashua ought to be seen as akin to the first line of defense. If we're here to make positive change then we shouldn't allow ourselves to get spooked so easily.

  • Nashua is awesome....new hampshire's bargains-on-everything town.

  • You know, I think I'll tell my realtor to look at houses there as well. How many FSPers are down there?

  • I know several.

  • It sucks that people from Mass spoil it for you guys in New Hampshire. But we aren't all like that. I open carry in Massachusetts, rural areas only, and travel frequently travel to NH to shop and breathe the sweet air of freedom. Don't let your lawmakers screw you out of your freedom like they did to us here. Keep up the good work!!

  • Actually, we give MAa lot of grief but there certainly are worse states for gun rights (e.g. NY). And while it is true that there are a lot of people moving north and having some impact on the political climate here, it is really more the western part of NH (along VT boarder) that seems to be where the bigger government proponents and liberals collect.

Having said that, we have seen a recent surge in street trash and graffiti here in Nashua with some correlation to recent MA influx.

  • Hi massItca, I'm from mass and like you I have a license to carry but unfortunately it is for target & hunting. This state has put restrictions to new guns & types of licenses. I can go over the border to NH and purchase a gun but only if it came from mass. In mass the second amendment is a privilege and not a right.

  • I saw a group of people leaving a parking lot with like 5 people in the car while we were picking up litter and they all were starring at us as they pulled out and drove by. They had mass plates.

I hope we do an Assault Rifle Litter Clean up :) Won't be easy to holster them, but a good sling should work.
