  • Sued for inciting racism? I believe he has the freedom to express even unpopular or racist ideas. I really love this series and your movie analysis, but I don't know what suing someone just because you disagree with them would accomplish.

  • I really enjoy your films. Very insightful and mind expanding stuff. I agree on your views about Michael Moore. He is in it for the money and the celebrity status. I look forward to your future work. I particularly enjoy your film analysis.

    Cheers mate.

  • Michael Moore is not really a Liberal and is not the Liberal media, he is what is known as controlled opposition, his whole 9/11 take missed out massive facts.

  • What are your thoughts on michael moore or his documentary farenheit 9/11?

  • I think Moore is a fake activist. Either he is working in cahoots with establishment propaganda (hence he gets big distribution deals for his DVDs where as much better documentaries are left to circulate only on the net) or he's simply in it to make money. then again he could mean well, but have his facts wrong. Either way he's not a good source of info.

  • Why do you give me all of this education for free robag?

  • Lots of reasons, but if I had to narrow it down it would be to counter-act the dumbing down of society by numbskull mainstream media.

  • Hey, robert ager, I forgot which videos you showed the words in so I'll ask here, what are the words used to describe the means of decoding symbols and metaphors in art and describe the means of putting symbols and metaphors in art?

  • semiotics was one of them

  • I am a vary aviocate reader but, lately i have been running low on in tresting subjects and good novals. any recomendations? i would also like to hear your take on music in the modren world as it has now become very comercilized and image driven then that of the 1990's gunge to the 1950's elvis.

well gretings from a 13-year-old in canada - Broomy

  • Good to see someone of your age is taking notice of these issues. Re: music. It's just like everything else - identify a formula that has the illusion of value, package it, and then sell, sell, sell. Just like the fashion industry the styles are mostly set by studio marketing gurus. There's still tons of good underground music though.

  • I personaly would like to thank you very greatly on your intelignt reception and portral of the media sorces that are around us every day. By opening by eyes and geting the ear plugs out of my ears.

your tips were greatly apprecated and i hartaly agree with your coment about how news papers and other forms of news should often "cite" there sorces. Any ways

  • I don't think there's a def crossover line between whether a person is or isn't a speed reader. Speed reading, to my knowledge, is a collection of reading techniques. The more of them you learn the faster your reading will be. Just reading the speed reading books I don't personally think is enough though. You have to practice each technique individually until it becomes a natural component of how you read..

  • i have been watching alot of your videos, and i'd like to thank you for opening my eyes to the what the world really is.

what would a world without corrupt governments and biased media corporations be like?

and how could we achieve that?

  • I doubt we could ever be fully rid of those things, but that we can minimize their frequency and severity with consistent effort. Awareness is the first step. Corruption is very impractical if people know precisely how it's happening. A restructuring of the world's financial institutions to full reserve lending and the abolishment of interest would be a big help. Having elected parties legally bound to carry out specific election campaign promises would be good too. There's tons more.

  • I, for one, think mandatory references in newspaper articles is a pretty good idea. Misinformation is so easily spread.

Thanks for making these enlightening videos!

  • I can totally agree, it's really dispersed in the diffrent generations. I mean, I think there are more young people skeptic nowdays, since their news outlet tend to be international and more towards internet than the evning news. So it's a good thing to not get to focused and specialized and try to get everyone to see the big picture.

  • I dont think people are that ignorant of the media. Me for once haven't owned a TV for atleast 4 years now. And when the goverment dept. here in Sweden want their tax for broadcasting costs. I say I dont have a TV but last time they where like. "a guy born in the 80's without a TV? that's odd" : :D ... Still I belive in the internet, just beacuse of this. Anyone have their own air-time. And Robert Ager is awesome ! keep tuned! :)

  • There's quite a varied scale of awareness these days about the mainstream media. A lot of ppl are very clued up and a lot are still in the dark completely. I guess with this set of vids I've tried to make something that will be educational for ppl at both ends of that spectrum. For those already clued in I suppose some of the obvious stuff I say might sound almost patonizing. lol ... and thanks for the vote of confidence.

  • Wow, I watched 1-4 just now, and I applaud you for actually talking about how the media distorts and how their bias isn't just limited to news...

This should be mandatory for anyone on earth to listen too before being let out into the wild of the bigoted community that is the media.
