  • This is one of my favourite tv shows of all time - absolutely love it.

  • I was 12 and 13 during the series run. My younger brother and I had to beg my father to let us stay up and watch it. It was hit or more often miss. I'll be getting the DVD's ASAP. Always thought this was a great percurser to the X-files.

  • These promos are from the complete dvd series of The Invaders. Anybody who has the dvd set has seen these.

  • iSN'T THAT JACK LORD in the opening? MCGARRETT!!!

  • Wow! There is a lot of "mature" people watching this promo! I was 14 when the show started - every kid at school was talking about this - No, at the time we were not talking about S. Pleshette, D. Baker & the host of young aspiring actresses that complemented each episode. For us, the special effects were ...fascinating (to echo Mr. Spock from another show of the era. I remember "The Outer Limits" a few years earlier - scared the s... out of us. Those were our innocent days..

    Thanks for the vid

  • A pity that show, The Invaders never lasted that long while trash like Daniel Boone lasted well unto the 70's. Truly, 1 of my favorite Sci-Fi shows.

  • Wow. I used to watch "The Invaders" without fail. This obviously was before I discovered girls. Suzanne was smokin'.

  • Susanne also played an alien in one of the episodes. She could feel emotions ( the " normal " aliens couldn't ) and they killed her for it.

  • The Invaders are running the UN and almost all Govs of the world, we need David Vincent to save us all LOL Great upload , best sci-Fi series ever btw

  • Whew!..I was all of 9 years old when this show came out. In Georgia we had BB guns and tree houses, forts in the woods and critter tracking, Saturday movies and glueing models. Topping it all...The scarey UFO stories of the 60's. The best summer's of my life back then were 5 of us younguns from the neighborhood camping out about every night and trading tales of the latest UFO scuttlebutt. (The other 3 families were older folks with no younguns, but great gardens for late night munchies)

  • Those glass tubes were from the Jupiter 2 in Lost in Space!!!

  • I loved Suzanne Pleshette, every young boy in the 1960s did! RIP Suzanne.

  • I can never work out what I thought best with this series.. the Sci-Fi action or the lovely stacked headlight Ford Galaxies that David Vincent drove around the sets in..LOL.. Whatever it was I'll still give you a 5* for an excellent listing

  • This is brilliant to see, thanks for posting Jeff! I watched the series in the UK when it was first aired here in the late sixties and loved it ever since..

  • I just got the DVDs, and this show is just as awesome as I remember when I was 10. You just weren't cool on the playground unless you had seen this show.

  • I remember seeing this when it first started in January of 1967, I was nearly 6-years old in kindergarten. Loved it, still do. Get the DVDs!

  • Can see here shortly,"Vikor","The Mutation","Genesis","The Leeches","Nightmare","Doomsday minus one" and "The Experience".

    Huuh...who say I'm a real fan?

  • Watch the guitarist's face. Look how fast he looks up after checking his hand position. No acting required! "Chords... what chords... what... guitar...."

  • Am I dreaming? I must be dreaming. Suzanne Pleshette playing an erotic dancer! I must have been teleported to heaven by the invaders! If so, leave 'em alone David Vincent, they be my homeboys!

Seriously one of the coolest TV shows EVER!

  • Her character wasn't just an erotic dancer...she was an alien posing as an erotic dancer!!

  • Suzanne Pleshette was EVERY man's (and boy's) favourite. What a honey!

  • Yeah, Suzanne was a babe, that was before her voice sounded husky.

  • @kayfabe1 I remember covering my eyes because this part of the show was "too risque" for me to see as a little boy...

  • One of the BEST Sci-Fi shows ever created for TV. Scary? Yes! If the music didn't grab you, the modern day paranoia about aliens (imagine terrorist from another galaxy in human form) lurking about did. This is the first time I've ever seen these promos. I was just 7-years-old when the show originally aired and loved it then. What's so-o cool is that I'm now able to watch these 40-years later! Thanks for the post! I'll be getting the DVDs soon.
