  • I read this while I was a kid,then when I heard they were making a movie,I was like "Hey! I recognize that name! :D",so I got bored,searched the title and  found this :P then when I saw the movie I was like "wtf?"

  • i had to do this book back in 1st or 2nd grade in a shoebox..diagram..I can't remember what they are but I did cloudy with a chance of gummy bears, and I had a barney figure in a raincoat standing under the raining gummys lol

  • man, i remember reading this at walmart, i didnt think too much of it but later i realized the story, and the book its self was like, almost cinematic in state, like, the way its told, and me thinking that in the story, the grandpa was probably a person that came from the island and he was telling the story of what it was like there,

  • I remembered enjoying this book as a child, but have now realized that it's only good under two conditions: when you're very young and/or very hungry. Unfortunately, I am neither.

    Nostalgia, however, can be a very sweet thing.
