I have to agree with a lot of people, Barbara was not beautiful, at least not in the conventional sense.

....She was more than that. She was funny, playful and brave, and that made her sooo friggin sexy.

I daresay, she was sexier than Halle Berry, an example of someone who is hot, but not sexy. She doesn't have an ounce of playfulness to her.

Too bad Barbra started taking herself so seriously later on in life. :(

People often said I looked like Streisand when I was in my teens. It was usually meant as a compliment. Few times, it meant... well one Jewish guy called it the "Golda Meier complex." Didn't consider myself beautiful. But it wasn't like I had a difficult time attracting men. Wasn't as though I took a lot of walks on an afternoon, and didn't hear horns and hoots and receive the odd proposition. Or the not so odd proposition.

Steisand did not conform to Hollywood's very limited idea of what a beautiful woman was, but that doesn't mean she was not a unique beauty in her own right. Hers was the kind of beauty that was meant to be discovered and appreciated on its own terms, not taken for granted. Had Streisand been an "ordinary" beauty, like the other showgirls in the movie, the film would not have worked at all.

Ive pulled some stunts on stage. What is really funny is that it is not entirely out of the question that something like this might happen!  One of the funniest parts of this video it is reaction of the second chorus girl in pink on the right. When they first show Barbra with the pillow, she almost loses it!
