  • If you're a smoker you shouldn't run this for too long lol... Fire + Hydrogen = ....

  • hey i was wondering is there any substitute for the mosfet that i can use cus its very hard for me to get one of those pls reply urgently thanks

  • wow, you can un-burn HOH, now you can burn it again.

  • Hi I build this circuit and it's producing well but my mosfet is getting very hot.

    Any clue for this problem?

    Thanks

  • add a heat sink

  • Why actually vother using a 555 circuit at alll?

this can be done with a battery and the stainless steel bolts alone, no electronics needed.

  • I think it produces it faster with PWM. Or it's more efficient or something like that.

  • mosfets can handle more current when they controlled with pwm.

  • lol. a PWM is used to control the current, if you try just useing battery wires and steel plates... you will kill the battery,(forever) start fire with wires, and burn the hell out of anything that touches any wires.

to save the battery from any overloading damage you must pulse the current and voltage. on-off-on-off ect, mosfets produce most of the heat energy waste. insted of shorting the battery

  • that is a 1 Meg Ohm POT (Variable resistor) and a 1N4001 general purpose rectifier diode. If you don't have those parts, then just use what you have. For instance you could use a 10 Meg Ohm POT or just about any rectifier diode. I really need to make this experiment better; perhaps I will in the next 1-3 months or at least find someone else that has done it better. Stay tuned. You can also visit my website for more ideas and cool stuff I've discovered.

  • Ok., I'll let u know the result after making this circuit. thanks

  • on 555 timer pinout no. 7 , is it 1.2M variable resistor and diode IN4004?

    thanks

  • hello.. on the drawing, you put the resistor after the output from the mosfet drain. The resistor ohm?

    thanks

  • It's been awhile since I built the circuit, but I don't think you need the resistor. Should be fine without it if you are using a small 9 volt battery like I was using.

  • hello mate what does 555 means?i have simple PWM in my hho cell running on 100Hz.

  • search google for "555 timer"

The 555 timer is used for timing and other applications.
