Philidephians why the hell do you guys have a cannon. Like is their just a random peice of heavy artillery lying around, that you keep around to blow up houses?
This is one of the saddest episodes, it teaches us that not everything was a patriotic as we hope in the revolutionary war, tension with the native american tribes, increase of slavery of the africans and americans attacking neighbors claiming them as "Torries". But I like to believe that our cause of independence would outshine our bitter, ugly truths, that it would continue to outshine slavery, hate and fear with freedom and equality.
@TheGTunit7 I agree. It is obvious that this revolution was far from perfect. But I think that despite their imperfections, the American heroes we honor are honored because they put the glorious ideas of freedom and equality above their flaws. It has taken this country a long time to reach the level we are at, and we still haven't reached it fully. However, these true patriots started the spark. I think that if we have at least a part of their spirit, we would grow so much more as a country.
Oh my gosh now I remember why I felt I had to see the end to this series.... this is the last episode I saw and it is ten times sadder than I remember!

At 2:44, the two men standing on the right and left of the podium are two of the same men who tarred and feathered the English sailor in the third episode. When James confronts the mob leader, it's a great example of how he learned his lesson about mobs in the third episode. At 4:25 the mob leader's hair is dark brown instead of light brown.

LOL its so funny how things havnt changed up to now... ThePoor and the rich still struggle and fight for equality. As for the Indians im afraid they were right... Americans did treat them mercilessly... African americans as well... if America had lost the war... Black people wouldve been free alot longer. Even today Americans continue to mistreat Indians. Its an unfortunate part of history .
Funny, when I hear the phrase "6 year old show", I don't think war violence and historical figures and events the tykes probably won't give a dang about. (also, I believe the show is "Y-7" rated, so it might be a bit intense for little kids anyway.) On that note, having ideas shipping is perfectly fine in cartoons, whether or not it's intended for little kids.
Sorry for taking your ear off and I hope you don't take anything I said personally, I just had to put in my two cents.
And before you say anything, I know you were merely stating your opinion, and that's perfectly fine, too. Sorry if my words gave you the wrong idea. I'd put that in my last post, but I was running out of space. (stupid character limit... grumble...)
Chief Cornstalk kind of sounds like Russell Means to me.
