  • 2:36!!! SHITT :D

  • I'm 15 now and play the piano. Hopefully in another 20 years my fingers will be as epic as Dog the Bounty hunter.

  • i gotta admit. that sounds pretty sweet. i wish i knew how to play keyboard. i only play french horn and that's it.

  • pues sí, qué pelacos lleva el señor, pero qué dedos gasta!!!

  • I just watched this on another channel and commented that Wakeman looked like Dog Chapman and then I found this! Classic!

  • Fucking unreal.

  • Sometimes I cant tell who is better at this kind of material...Keith Emerson or Rick. Thanks Rick for reminding me who is the boss :)

  • @Nikkodemis I agree. Always thought Keith was better and Rick has just strengthened my belief.

  • @stuporduper haha...The progrock bountyhunter....hell yea!!!! Wakeman rules.

  • I didn't realise dog the bounty played piano/keyboard and looks a little like rick wakeman.

  • He is / was the Keyboardist/Genius from the band Yes If you didn't know- One of my all time Key heros

  • this movie was soooooooo amazing I watched it at

    watch E1 last E1 movies . c oom ( de lete E1 )

and now I will buy the DVD

  • digital keyboards SUCK.

    check out John Medeski.

  • Do you know the name of this song? If it's Dog the Bounty Hunter, I've looked for hours, and can't find sheet. Does anyone have the sheet music?

  • @cable729 have a listen to his Six Wives of Henry the Eighth a great deal is taken from that work, Dog the Bounty Hunter is of course a piece by Ozzy Osbourne for the theme of a TV show

  • @cable729 LOL

  • saw it thought it was just ok - need to watch it -its at latest Release movies -dot ^com

  • I wish the audience would shut up. This is why I don't go to concerts.

  • @Envergure you sure hate auidences.

  • Really impressive, and nice composition.

  • It's so irritating how everyone screams and whistles throughout the song! This is why I never go to concerts :( Oh well, this is an excellent composition and performance anyways!

  • It's funny it's even being mentioned...Rick Wakeman is a flourish master...the raised hand at the end of a passage, etc.

There is another video on YouTube somewhere of Rick Wakemansan vs. someone from an 80's dance band called Level 42. Rick was clearly faster in the key progression, yet at the end he HAD to raise his hand in flourish before hitting the "stop" button. Rick lost. Obviously it's one of his million ways to make sure you are paying attention to what HE is about to do. Watch me!

  • nice name for the video to get people to watch it. FAIL

  • What? o_o

The name is all right, the name of this solo is Dog the Bounty Hunter. o.o

  • Rick has had severe artritis in his hands for years. Ive heard he needs 2 hours just to warm up.

  • and in ,,full, stereo, thanks.

  • Rick Wakeman,none better ever!!!!

  • I personally think Rick was waggling his hand to limber up for the fast right handed section...

  • @DonRaggo i thought he was just trying to shake his cuff off of his hand so it doesnt catch during that fast right handed "panflute on speed" part

  • Simply the best of all the best.

  • I dont see Keith Emerson being mentioned, why's that? he's at the same level of rick wakeman!

  • yeah! true.

  • Emerson could'nt wipe Wakemans ASS

  • i think emerson would feel different about that

rick is the man in all circles

  • i think he was shaking his hand to push his cuff sleeve back, because his left hand was already playing... so he couldnt shake it off

  • Yes!!!!

  • The opening piece is, indeed, "Madrigal"; It is mis-titled on CD, DVD, etc., and I was told--by an extremely reliable source-- that it was deemed financially unfeasible for it to be corrected. The middle piece is a fantasia based upon "Catherine Parr", with musical connections to both the opening Hammond statement and the backing MiniMoog lines near the end of the original song. As for the "hand-shaking": I'm not sure of its' benefit, although I have seen him do this on other videos as well.

  • beautiful! Rick Wakeman is great!

  • I think 1.05-2.02 it's "Madrigal". He's amazing!

  • The tune in the middle is NOT Catherine Parr!!!!

  • jesus christ, i think his fingers are about to catch fire

    that was FLAMING EPICNESS

  • Hahahaha dog the bounty hunter! Classic! Good observation

    Wakeman rules

  • Do you see how he shakes up his right hand before the uberpwnage at 2:47? Definitely just for show (as a keyboard player, I can confirm that shaking your hand doesn't make your fingers more limber) but it makes the following solo look just that much more intense and impressive. What mad chops!

  • the man is a FREAK! (and i mean that in the best way possible) XD

  • All hail Dog the bounty hunter.

  • i have a sense of humor and i thought your comment was hilarious. hahahha

he kinda has that hair style don't he?

    cheers.

  • I prefer Jordan Rudess, but damn can this guy play.

  • RW fuck to JR : D

Rick Wakeman , the best keyboardist FOR EVER

  • Different styles.. both amazing.. you cant compare apples with cars.

  • You're right. Gotta respect both.

  • All hail the King of Keyboards!

  • AWESOME!

  • is this footage from a offical release or a bootleg, if its abootleg, does anybody know more about it.

  • is from Anderson, Bruford, Wakeman & Howe album A evening of yes music plus...or something and the song is a medley from Gone but not Forgotten/Caterine Parr/Merlin the Magician

  • What performance is this? What year??

  • the best keyboardist to have ever lived, past present and future.

  • Hold on to that thought.. trust me

  • This is not "Gone but not forgotten" !! What is the name of this theme?

  • the greatest keyboard player ever !!

  • I agree.

  • @aprietov18 absolutely!!!!

  • I mus say.. I'm impressed

  • So great hearing this with descent sound quality. Thanks a lot!

  • Wakeman isnt good.
