How can anyone not love her? Just so sweet. I also agree with her about the adopted thing, being adopted myself. Hate reading in an Obit....."he is survived by his son, Bill and adopted son, ****"! There is not difference. BAD MEDIA!!! As far as giving Garland a run for her money, Garland did not have the range or operatic training, indeed, she had no training, her voice was naturally emotional and so, so strong. She could sing anything. Just my opinion! Cheers!

God bless her, I miss her so much. And God bless you, your family, Kristin and her family...every family with love in their hearts for one another.

BTW, Again I agree: how can anyone not love Kristin? And Judy was a natural, untrained genius. She and Kristin are, each in her own right, divas, meaning "divine ones."

As fas as being adopted, my sister and I were both adopted, and I don't feel any different about her and to her kids and their friends, I am simply "Uncle G"! Mom and I are always told how similar we are, in every way. We look at each other and chuckle. At times I feel oddly with cousins and such, in Italy.....

They have never shown this, it's all in my mind. l am so pleased with the families created today, all different colors and sexes and orientations. @GuinnevereB I am glad that we agree as It angers me when they add, "adopted child of.." when that is not the case at all, which is wy people invest so much time and money in adopting a child for themselves, of any color, religion or race. I am sorry for your loss, in regards to your sister. Odd, I am so much like my mom, that everyone, even those who know, remind us how alike we are, physically and personality wise. People see what they want to see. It's a blessing for an adopted child.

Hate to have to say it, but the 'WIcked' movie is incredibly unlikely to have the Cheno as Galinda. Kristin is already in her late 40s, and because the producers of the show will want to squeeze as much money from ticket sales as they can before they start thinking about a movie, she's most likely going to be in her fifties (or maybe even sixties) by the time filming starts. Of course I still hope that they will cast someone who will do her justice :)

i agree completely! i don't want to see the movie have young hollywood stars for the part of elphaba and glinda. i'm sure that lots of fans would be upset with that. i have nothing against others trying to sing the songs from wicked i just know that chenzel created the two roles so they should deserve to play them in the movie. kristin has the perfect personality for glinda, she adds humor to it. idina is fantastic too. plus not everyone looks good in green.
