salute ortodox fools and all the others ,but... that's not religious song, it's higly conscious song, which has nothing to do with religion ...go ask your priest you motherfucker
I do not understand any of the comments: What´s wrong with the audience? They have long hair, so they must be on drugs? And what has all this to do with Metalheads ? And why do people have to talk so much about music. It is what it is, not what somebody says about it.By the way MY denomination is roman-canabian- unortho-toxic- cocacatholic Protestant.
@Plexpara Damo actually sang on 3 full albums and parts of others - all of Tago Mago, Ege Bamyasi, and Future Days, along with some tracks on Soundtracks and the parts of the live albums. And while he's not the original vocalist, he is probably my favorite - Mooney is awesome as well, but as Tago Mago is my favorite album of all time I've gotta tip the scales in favor of Damo.
@Plexpara He's on three actually and part of the Soundtracks record so 3 1/2, I suppose. It also has Malcolm Mooney who left. Soundtracks, Tago Mago, Ege Bamayasi, and Future Days.
Never mind the audience , here"s THE CAN . I am a SERB from Belgrade , Iam listening this for 15 years and I can"t get enough . I am not drug consumer . I am orthodox and i salute you all .
Jau tolles Stück, einer meiner Lieblingssongs!! This song's one of my favourites by Can, they were awesome. I like this video and saw it uncountable times. Thanks!!
a lot metalheads are just idiots, they're always trying to be tr00 and become ridiculously blind. I'm a metal fan myself (in fact, death metal is by far the genre I most listen to). However I'm proud of being an open minded guy, and lately Can has become one of my favorite bands, true visionaries and artists.
As for the scale guy, you just showed how you don't know shit about this band, we're talking about an experimental rock act...
thanks for this - it shows some really early roots to what became an amazing sound that holds up to this day - listen to tago mago and see if you dont agree
It's seem the fans of supposedly "melodic" death metal band Deadlock seem to feel compelled to leave negative comments on this vid. Why can't you just say, "This isn't my thing," and not post comments on this video.
It may surprise you to learn that not everyone likes melodic death metal. So, can't we just agree to disagree? Everyone is allowed to have different tastes.
Can was one of the most important krautrock bands ever,Holger Czukay, the bass player, studied electronic music with Karlheinz Stockhausen, the drummer,Jaki Liebezeit played jazz for a long time before joining Can...and now a 15 years old metalhead, looking for a melodic death metal band (oh my god!) wants to teach to Michael Karoli the pentatonic scale...now I've seen everything in my life...
I found this on random while searching for Deadlock, a young german melodic death metal, because there is supposed to be a new video of them. And I have to say... The guitar player had never experienced something like a pentatonic scale, the vocalist is almost screaming although hes supposed to sing and the songs bores me a bit due to the speed which is sloooooooooow (but speed is only subjective)... So many great rock bands, why does something like this exist. Go listen Dire Straits, Yes etc.!
Im pretty sure all your favourite bands hail Can as one of the greatest bands of all time. Heck, every drumbeat all your favourite bands have ever done where done by Can before that.
Possibly homebrewed. I think Karoli never used an amp, but instead relied on the band's PA/amps from Farfisa, more famous for making Organs. The Beatclub Paperhouse video shows a lot of Farfisa gear but no bass/guitar heads specifically designed for that purpose. Can also had those strange amps which were almost 2D thin, and stood upright next to the drummer at gigs. Seen them in a few videos including the Cologne free concert I think...
beautiful; it's a pity that it's only now that we have access to such stuff(i'm from some backwoods of europe, never had the germans' luck. but anyhow thank you for this video
The singer looks like an old schoolmate of mine lol
