  • i dont care what gait he is in its pretty to watch damn a hater

  • WATCH YOUR MANNERS EVERYONE, YOUR CLASS IS SHOWING!!!!

Everyone wants to be an expert. Maybe you are but people don't post here to be criticized by strangers. I have bred saddlebred for years. We saddlebred lovers have forgotten that the ASHA membership that we promise to abide by says that; we are to uphold the integrity of the breed. When you attack others you have lst your integrity!

  • Good Lord, I hope this is the only horse you have inflicted yourself on and I hope you sell the poor animal soon. This isn't any kind of racking gait, it's merely a horse trying to get away from the pain in its mouth. If you must use a bit, the softer the better. Get yourself some lessons and the horse a decent trainer, or for God's sake, get another hobby!!!

  • Your in his mouth to much!!! I'm around gaited horses at least once a week!! We use hackamores on ours!!! I ride the crazy one in a simple hackamore! Get that big ass bit out of his mouth or you are going to hit your head on that asphalt

  • That horse looks in pain.

  • sell the horse, go back to your video games. (poor horse)

  • That is NOT how you do it.... That is what you call a very upset horse about one inch from going up in the air or over backwards. PLEASE learn how to do it right. If the horse is getting that upset, you are DOING IT WRONG.

  • Terrible....and sad. Your not a rider NOR a trainer. It is obvious in the horse's actions. Get out of horses...for their sake.

  • horse just looks pissed

  • that horse is too pretty to not know how to ride/handle him. take some lessons. you are defintily giving him conflicting cues. that is why he is rearing and bouncing around with you. by the way bits do not give better control, only proper training and practice does. harsh bits can literally cause a horse to go crazy and run away or buck wildly if the pain gets to great. harsh bits, poor rider, and pain means only one thing. disaster waiting to happen.

  • I have been around Saddlebreds for 10 years. This Saddlebred is definitely gaiting, but it is extremely pacey. I would not call it a rack, and I would not call it a slow gait either. The person riding him obviously has no idea what he's doing. Especially riding that poor horse in such a huge curb. My five gaited Saddlebred just needs a little snaffle and away he'll go.

  • thats not a rack, let it move out a little more then maybe u could call it a rack

  • It just looks like hes trying to hold the horse back from moving out, not like he's racking.

  • That isn't racking... That is just a horse who is trapped in a big bit, wanting to go forward but not being allowed to, so he starts flipping his legs around. It's a testament to his kindness that he doesn't take that choke hold on a long shanked curb as an invitation to flip over on you.

  • @blairasb

hunny this is a racking horse. If he would get out of its mouth you would see that. Hes in its mouth to much making it look sloppy!

  • @rockymntgirl215 Thanks but I own and show a saddlebred who is 5-gaited. I know what a rack looks like. It's a ground covering four beat gait. Just because it isn't trotting doesn't make it a rack. All that "gait" is is a mess.

  • @rockymntgirl215

hunny iam around racking and pacing horses everyday of my life and i know a rack when i see one. This is a rack but a very messy one! and your around saddlebreds. Iam around walkers and other RACKING HORSES!

  • @rockymntgirl215 i agree with you, this is a sloppy one

  • @rockymntgirl215 It might be a "racking horse" by somebody's definition, but it isn't racking a single step in this video, which is what the title of the video seems to say..... A rack is a fast, square, smooth four beat gait, not this shuffly, fussy little mess. How do I know? I am the proud owner (and trainer) of one who does it pretty darn right... I hope people aren't turned off of wanting an ASB from seeing this video- folks, this is NOT how it's done....

  • hmm...... he must be just learning because he seemed very hyper and prancy

work w/ him some more and get off his mouth

  • hunny this isnt a rack worth looking at! is he just learning? and maybe he would get going if you get out of his mouth so muchh! your holding him to close!

  • um please tell me that horse is just now learning because that looked horrible no offence

  • wtf!!!!!!!!!!! please tell me he is just learning

  • Damn you can not ride get out the horse mouth you look stupid

  • Thats a nice horse, is he reg. and is he for sale?
