People who think this is good are going to be sorely mistaken when billions of nanobots swarm your body system and turn you into a brain eating zombie.
nanotechnology is alien technology, alien-made, not man-made ! we need to seriously question this type of technology because there's alot of negative uses for this stuff, & they're keeping this type of technology out of public inquiry !
they can also latch on to your neurons & use frequencies to change your perceptions of your environment !
So far no robots this size. We have some small machines though like a motor running on static electricity. Theres some website info on the various types of devices.
Nanobots would erase all illneses. It can solve world hunger. It can turn simple carbon to food to clothing to paper etc. It can also make us live forever.
Demographic studies over the decades has shown that in highly industrialize world people (esp. prevalent among middle class middle income earners) are having less kids & much later stage of life (probably because of the life style. Many if given a choice wouldnt want children). Infact suprisingly underpopulation is a danger among the adavnce industrislized nations. The demographic studies also shows over population is mainly a third world phenomenon. So no worry.
They wouldn't be bound to the limits that our human eyes are.
Possibly sonar. I'm sure the scientists who will work on this technology will figure out a solution that will blow our minds... or be completely simple.
Yes, in the next ten years nanotechnology will be the greatest revolution in the hole history of human science. And we got all flying cars since the year 2000...
Nanotechnology could promise a better world for us, just like the computers we are using to discuss this video, just like the hospitals treat us and save us from injury and disease, this is the goal of nanotechnology. We can develop it, we can control it, and it can help us live happier and healthier lives.
Yep I could imagine a world where one can manipulate carbon atoms to almost anything made of similar material. Sorta like the food replicator on Star Trek.
I hope nanotech will be used to fight diseases like cancer, heart disease etc.
Science is just a tool. Humans are at fault. If the religious nuts get to say that it's not the Bible/Koran/etc. that's wrong, it's human interpretation, than it hold true for science too. So stop being afraid of science and think up ways to monitor it to ensure it remains humane (I JUST watched the Terminator trilogy and am at my most anti-science, and yet I can still say this) Respect science/scientists for being such a great example of the best parts of human imagination and curiosity
Yeah and you are one of them. I dont know why you people are so against at having a better world. Its coming whether you like it or not. Only because of scientists who have pledged their lives to education. You and I would not be living right now if it was not for them.
i was actually talking about the people you are talking about, that see everything as a threat... so judging by your non thinking reactive 'I'm right and you're wrong' see everything as a threat attack on me... welcome to the idiot club :D harhar

@Jenfucius live for ever = overpopulation
Xxgoblin 3 months ago
@Xxgoblin wars and famine would balance things until a stable population structure is put in place-i.e. 2.1 children per family on average

I think the technology in Gi joe isnt that far off from what were about to make or have already made

But how would a nanobot be able to "see" or to navigate within the human body????

I think they form a symbiotic relationship with the human and live inside them permanently, like the bacteria in your intestine.

Only if the user wants them to leave. They go to a companel and make a request for the nanos to be flushed out of the body.

Whoever says this will happen in the next 50 years is an idiot. It won't happen even in 100.

well we have seen everything go small at a rapid rate. Some of the nano-technology are being used today; so it may not be to far.

If you're scared of this being CREATED, you're the equivalent of cavemen afraid of fire.
What you should be afraid of, is this being USED for militaristic purposes.
