I agree totally with those who say that this song is awesome. Two things very curious about it though. For one thing, it was not actually used in the movie, which was a great shame. Also, it was sung by Sir Paul McCartney's former protege Mary Hopkin, best known for 'Those Were the Days'.

I believe "Rachel's Song" is only featured on the official soundtrack release. I don't think it's featured on any of the bootlegs of the soundtrack. Just sayin', in case that's what you have.
