Battlefield 3 sucks ass, its nothing more than a consolized arcade shooter for adhd kids with rpg7s who scream in youtube how realistic their game with regenerating tanks is. If collecting perks, gun attacments and leveling up is your thing, might as well play diablo.

i got a question for anyone who can answer it. i bought the Alienware X51 $1,200 one so it came with i7 processor 3.4GHz 8 GB ram and a GTX 555. it runs awesome when i have the post process effect disabled and everything else is on very high and i have 1080p for both graphics and resoultion. but when i get buy a tree and look at the leaves on it it starts getting a little chppy, so i was wondering what is causeing that? is it something with the graphics setting or processor speed? Thank You

@Battlefieldfan97 get a cheap pc and buy a graphics card. from Nvidia look for these (branding doesn't matter -- much) gtx 250/260 gtx 8800/9800 or gtx 450/550. from ati a 4850/4870/4890 HD would suffice though they consume a lot of amps on your power supply. If you're willing to spend more the 6XXX HD series is good on power consumption. look for 67XX or 68XX (I.E 6770 or 6850/6870). As for the PC anything with a quad core and a 350-400w power supply would do. All else you could craigslist one.

Note: I do not have this game yet but it looks like a lot Operation Flashpoint. Now I'm not saying either one is bad but Arma 2 looks like it has A LOT more in it. (Flashpoint screwed themselves with no drivable vehicles in their new game Red River...) Can't wait to get Arma 2 myself! :D

@Onlin3Mast3r Bohemia Interactive, who made the Arma games, made the first Op Flashpoint, Cold War Crisis. When they split from Codemasters, the Flashpoint name stayed with Codies. I've enjoyed what I've played of Dragon Rising but Codies need to stick with their driving games, because imo they do them very well and the competition for war simulator is strongly leaned against them.

Also I love Flashpoint too but on their newest game, "Red River" they just pushed the line with removing the flippin' vehicles! I didn't even want to buy the game once I heard that... Also I got the free version on Arma 2 (off their website) and I love how they did everything, the editor and multiplayer are just amazing, bravo Arma 2!

@pewpewlololo Well, some people, as you stated, like slow gameplay as they can employ more tactics which give a deeper meaning to the game. But as an example now, Call of Duty, that is an extreme small scale deathmatch from start to finish in which the tactics are "Run, Gun, Kill, Die" more or less every time. As in these games you can more or less spend half an hour walking from one point to another without facing -any- enemies at all.
