I might have bought the whole CimFam EP if it was their a capella/acoustic covers. Their a capella/acoustic covers were what got me interested in Cimorelli. And while the songs on the EP weren't bad, they sounded autotuned and their harmonies were kind of drowned out by the background track.

@DawnMelodyMusic The problem isn't that they're not acapella or acoustic (and they have never used auto tune). Remember the studio stuff they did themselves like Firework and Best Love Song are heavy with harmony. What ruined the Cim Fam EP is the producer seems to have no idea what made them so appealing in the first place..........and promptly produced it right out of the songs. Oh well, at least we find out what "Million Bucks" was SUPPOSED to sound like here.

@demonhoopa Million Bucks was well-produced (after all the guy was Michael Jackson's producer). But I agree with you on the covers. Skyscraper was pretty good. But What Makes You Beautiful and Dynamite, in particular, were horribly produced.

@endivehead2 I would disagree that Million Bucks was "well produced". Name dropping Michael Jackson does not mean anything either way. Where are the harmonies? They're so far in the background that a non Cimorelli fan would never know it is a formidable VOCAL group. Watch this performance again and listen to how the heavy harmonies on "you make me feel like a million bucks" makes the hook pop. That line is supposed to be the payoff. This guy produced the payoff right out of the song. TERRIBLE.

@demonhoopa It may not be to your taste. But Million bucks was definitely well-produced. Compare it to the originals of any other YouTuber. The quality of production is excellent. Although their vocals are excellent, I dont think they are good enough to be a "vocal" group.... The direction they are headed will be much more popular and fitting too. The Dream aint gonna make them sound like Boyz 2 Men. Just watch.
