Takk for musikken og "Keep up the good work" som vi sier på norsk :) Jeg følger deg videre :-D
hi Morten, thanks for your request, You're worthwhile to listen to. The hollow body looks like an aquisto. It's a beaut and sounds like it. Thank you for the music and for sharing . . . .
Wow, beautiful! The ultimate tone.EVERY note sounds like it should be there. You have already met your goal, World class! We will all sit back and watch. Nice to discover your channel. This is real music
VERY creative m'man, I enjoy most of your music vids, but this one is the best, so far. Shared with my FB friends, 'cause you deserve more recognition, keep it up! :)
Great musical talent and combination of your highly developed skills. Who can't enjoy this great Beatles' tune done jazzed up with your own creation? Your instrument technique is superb. As a child I had a treble and a bass melodica, very similar to the instrument that you are blowing into. This video was most enjoyable.
1:41 - 1:44 very Pat Metheny esque lick :) And I actually remember Pat playing this on one of his records, can't remember which one or which song though :-/ But anyways, great playing and I loved the video.
@MortenFaerestrand Yeah you're right, I usually call "licks" lines instead, but when on the internet I usually refer to "lick" since more people will know what I mean.
@HlynurS When you improvise with the same scales that have been used for hundreds of years, you are going to stumble on the same meldoic groupings that have been stumbled on thousands or millions of times. I don't hear anything unique about 1:41-1:44, just a random set of notes in a scale to my ears. But in general I definitely hear Metheny influence in MF's playing.
@jazzadellic It's just a note for note, rhythm for rhythm "lick" or "melody" or "line" (however you want to look at it) from a Pat Metheny album, that's all I'm saying. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, I'm not saying he played it intentionally, I just thought it was amusing :)
Thanks Morten for another masterpiece in skill and artistry. And you top it off with a tone that absolutely caresses the acoustic nerve: not to mention your music being provided for free to bless the ears of the rest of us starving musicians—a true artist in deed.
It's very nice, congratulation !

@HlynurS I wouldn't call it a lick though, more of a melodic idea.. They tend to creep in here and there yes..
